I was having trouble with an older internal WiFi card I had in my PC. Buying this item seemed a very inexpensive way to test a solution. Wow, did it work! I didn't even need the included installation disk. Windows 10 already had the necessary drivers. Plug it in, type in your WiFi password and go. If you look carefully on Amazon, you'll see there are other adapters that look identical to this one, just branded differently. I have a feeling they are all from the same manufacturer, so why not go with the least expensive? I can't speak to longevity on this device, as I just installed it, but for right now, it's working great. Side note - I'm an Amazon Prime member, and my area supports Sunday delivery, so I ordered this item Friday and it came Sunday, no shipping charges (other than, of course, the annual Amazon Prime fee). What a deal!

For the price, and from the description and reviews, it sounded wonderful. It worked great--for less than a day. Then it stopped. I unplugged it from the USB port, and it was HOT (child couldn't hold it, neither could I). Hmm... That USB port is always used for cell phone chargers, flash drives, etc., with no problems. I plugged it into another computer. This time, it took 10 seconds to get really hot. Was it just a lemon, or has anyone else with this problem found a solution?

This worked very well. My computer is in the same room as the wifi router but still not able to reach by cord. It's older and not wireless. The install didn't go according to the instructions and I don't have an interface but I was still able to get connected. The speed is roughly the same as when I had it attached by a cord.

For starters what I received was NOT 600 Mbps. I don't have it in front of me, but I believe it was 450. I loaded the software and plugged it in and it worked great for about 3 days. Now I cannot get it to connect and my computer has been acting funny every since I fist loaded to software. I got this to have a computer in the garage for when we're working on cars and now I'm going to have to get something else. I hope once I remove the software it will start acting right again.

Bought for a second PC located too far for a wired connection. Signal strength is excellent- I also have a TP-Link booster (purchased from Amazon) in the house so just about anywhere in the house has good WiFi strength from my dual band D-Link router which I purchased from Amazon.

Works like a charm. I had to return an adapter I had bought because it didn't support Windows 10 but I had no problems with this one. Easy to install and went to work right away. No problems, no hassle, no need to install drivers either.

These are awesome. Uses Realtec chips and drivers.Better Up/Down speeds then my Netgear AC dongles.Up and running on my Win7 64bit + Win 10 Os's just fine.Get great connection to my AC router
