Spring NotionBoys' Classic Fit Dress Suit Set

We required two suits on short notice. One for a 7yr old and one for a 12yr old. Both of my boys are above average height for their ages - 2nd tallest in each of their respective classes (1st grade and 7th grade). They also have solid builds - not over weight but not skinny either. The size 8 suit was perfect for my 7yr old and the size 16, though wearable, was a bit small for the 12yr old so we re-ordered size 18. The size 18 was just slightly big for him but gave him room to breathe. Loved the fact that the shirt and tie were included with the vest, jacket and pants. We also purchased socks and shoes separately. You may consider getting a belt. Though there was no belt included there is elastic on the back of the pants and they stayed up well. The vest covers the lack of a belt. We required these for an earlier than expected funeral and these fit our need perfectly. The material is all thin as you might expect for the price but looked really nice on the boys. Received several compliments on how sharp they looked. Hope this helped.

This is such a great suit for the price! Since my son was between sizes, I ordered both a 10 and a 12 and took advantage of the Prime Shipping and Free Returns. The Size 10 pants fit perfect, but the jacket and vest was a little to snug, so I went with the size 12 and the only thing with this size was the pants were a little bit long. I would not hesitate on buying from this seller again - EXCELLENT quality and very happy for the price. I can only imagine my son will want to wear this JUST for his confirmation/first communion but know I can probably sell this entire set for $25.00 and only be out $20.00. To buy each item separately or even just a pair of pants, shirt and tie - I would've probably paid $50+, so this is money well spent. Yes, the white dress shirt is a little on the "cheap" side, but I already had another on hand; still with the vest and jacket on, you wouldn't really notice the cheapness of this until you removed the 2 outer pieces. I purchased the black and white.

I followed the recommendations and ordered a size 8 and my son wears a 10. It fit perfectly! He didn't want to take the suit off, lol!

Wonderful suit. I ordered this last minute for my son's First Communion. It arrived the next day (thank you, Prime!) and fit as expected. I ordered slightly large so that it will fit him for another event later this summer, and the size was exactly as I hoped. The white shirt is a bit thin, as many inexpensive dress shirts are. It looked fine with a white t-shirt under it under the jacket. The pants have a button, but with the elastic at the back of the waistband my son pulled them up/down. We got many compliments and he looked very handsome. My only suggestion is to use a tie clip - I didn't think of it and we had to tuck the tie into the shirt buttons to keep it in place.

The suit looks amazing on and made my little guy look so grown up and classy. The pants fit really big. Pants somewhat big. The way it fits he will get plenty of wear out of it but not look frumpy.It comes with a maroon tie and a black tie. They are unique and all ties should be like this!! It has a zipper built in and when you push the knot up it zips the zipper up. No zipper shows but its really cool! Good purchase. Nice quality.

Great suit. Bought three of them for my nephews to wear as ring bearers in my wedding. True to size. My mom measured them and used the side chart on Amazon here and they fit perfectly - don't even need to be hemmed or anything. Great quality for around $40 you really can't beat it! Can't wait to see them wear it on my wedding day!

I bought this suit for my 6-year-old who usually wears about a 5. The jacket and shirt fit perfectly but the pants were HUGE! We ended up using suspenders and they worked okay but he could have probably sized down two sizes in the pants - in length and width. He wore them to a rainy funeral and got mud on it. We followed the washing directions exactly and the lining came unsewed. Also, the clip where the vest adjusts doesn't really hold the strap in well and it kind of just slid out a lot. For $45 for a kid, it is what it is I guess. It worked for us when we needed it. The pants would be better if they were adjustable.
