LAST SEEN ALIVE DVD

This was a fantastic, panic driven, anger producing, ride of a movie! I was on the edge of my seat! Gérard Butler was an excellent choice for this movie because he is a naturally big guy, not like a WWE wrestler type. And by choosing a man that is attractive and a normal build it helped add the layer of this could happen to anyone. The ending is insane don’t worry no spoilers! I won’t even tell you if it has a happy or sad ending. All I will say is believe half of what you hear, can’t really either “and none of what you see” part as this is a movie YOU NEED TO SEE! The director Brian Goodman, is amazing! The intensity and frame work and drive you can see if pushed EVERY actor, even extras, to perform beyond what they probably thought they were capable of! Hats off to everyone who made this movie possible!

Great movie.

A 2022 movie (staring actor Jerald Butler) ... A good drama - which will scare you for many reasons. The police Seargent also deserves Good kudos for his acting. The other actors' performances are commendable.We, older great-grandparents, won't watch again (our usual fare are "action" and Sci-Fi) ... have other movies to watch - currently ~ the new Matrix ... before which we Must Watch the older 4; and Ronan 47 ... again, have to watch the prior Ronan. ... (we are hoping you get the idea)We are donating this movie to 'Savers' or similar thrift store.Is it worth the $9.98? Yes, probably less a couple years down the road. Though a strength to its value is a simple, scary, premise we face today (as well as for the last 20 years) ... and "Really" have not understood and taken simple precautions in our own lives and the lives of our children.(and, Yes, while Gerald Butler's actor is not the 'super trained fighter' he often portrays, he still gets into some 'good guy/bad guys' shootouts ... That Do Reasonably fit into the movie.And the movie does offer up some 'deep down/scary' situations ... that You have to watch and see ... and experience.Very, Very, Realistic.

Good movie

Butler is great like usual, but the movie itself was a little lackluster. But still a good purchase and entertaining.

All of Gerard Butler's movies are great, and this one's as great as any he's been in.

This is low budget remake of the kindnapped wife movie with Kurt Russell. While it doesn't have the suspense of the earlier movie (like hanging off the side of a 18-wheeler, if I remember) Gerard Butler is great as usual. There isn't much story--wife dissapears, go find--but if you're just looking for action, it's very entertaining. Why? Gerard Butler. Even in movies that are mostly action, Butler is a really decent actor. He is so much better than a sleepwalker like Keanu--although who notices in a movie like this?I confess, when the wife says, in a flashback, "I need to get some perspective on our relationship" I thought it might be best to let the kidnappers keep her. But that aside, the only thing that's really off here is the lack of explanation of how Gerard goes from a real estate developer to a commando in the blink of an eye. But again, who notices in a movie like this?
