I have really enjoyed the Karite wax product. It has helped tremendously with my dry cracked hands that are painful at times. It has also become a fun tool to use with my granddaughters to spend a fun time doing our hands together. The scented wax that comes with it is also bonus. It came with plenty of plastic bags for the hands and feet. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I would highly recommend this product for its healing properties as well as the memories that are made just using it with friends and family "a fun time". Unlike other brands I have owned, it is large enough to totally immerse your feet too.

I’m truly impressed with this paraffin wax machine. I was suggested to get a machine for my therapy for my hand. I looked at several units and this had great reviews and a reasonable price. It has really lived up to my expectations. I have used it daily and I love the results I get. It makes my hand feel relaxed and soft.I have already referred a friend to purchase one as well . It works as well as the one in my therapist office.One of my favorite features is the automatic lid. With one touch it opens and closes to keep the wax covered and clean. I also appreciate it came with sufficient startup tools, wax and gloves.

So glad I purchased the Karite brand Paraffin Wax Machine! I am using it for my hands, to relieve the discomfort from arthritis. The hot wax treatment is very soothing, and my hands feel pampered and moisturized afterward.I also wanted the option to treat my feet if I chose to, and this model has ample capacity and space to accomodate an average adult foot.Temperature adjustment is precise and consistent, making it easy to know when the wax would be most comfortable for me to dip into. The provided Lavender scented wax feels and smells lovely. I usually hate scented products, as most of them are disagreeably strong, but not this wax. This scent is light, fresh, and pleasant. Since I alone use this machine, I just thoroughly scrub my hands before dipping, then reuse the wax over and over.Accidental small drips of wax are easy to wipe off the outer case of the machine. I do not CLEAN OFF the protective floor grid after each use. Instead, I use a piece of metal coat hanger to snag it and lift it out of the melted wax. After letting excess wax drip off of it, I set it onto a piece of wax paper or even a paper towel. Then after the wax in the machine has cooled and hardened, I just lay the grate on top of the mass of wax, where it will sink to the bottom the next time I use the machine. Easy!I also love the hinged lid that opens and closes at the touch of a button. No loose lid to fall into the melted wax, as with other models.Customer service with this company is excellent---responsive, polite, and helpful. Great job, Karite!I recommend this Karite Paraffin Wax without reservation. I would choose it again in a heartbeat!

Works great & stylish looking

Very happy with the purchase. The buttons are not overly clear... I've turned the machine off when I was trying to open the lid. The heating is pretty quick, but the temp reading seems to be 3-5 degrees off from when measuring using an external thermometer. Also, needed to order an additional few packs of the wax to get enough to fully submerge large hands. The amount that it comes with would be enough for small/medium hands.Wash hands well BEFORE using and you can greatly extend the life of the wax.

I've been wanting a home paraffin machine ever since I used one in occupational therapy. I was worried about turning it off and the wax hardening, along with where I would put such a thing. This Karite machine fits perfectly in the space I have, and I unplug it when not in use. It came with 8 bars of lavender scented wax, I started with 4 but that was not enough. There are minimum-maximum marks in the machine. Now I've got all 8 in the machine. It senses how long it will take to melt the wax, and if it needs more time I just leave it heating up longer. It has a default starting temp of 127F. I can turn it up to melt faster, then turn it down. My hands can't tolerate too high a temp. The display is very readable. The lavender wax smells great. It will be expensive to replace it, but we'll see how long this batch lasts. My hands were super dry in the winter air and the skin splitting around my fingernails. My skin began to be relieved the 1st time I dipped my hands in the wax. The little tool makes it easy to remove whatever little pieces of wax remain. Most of it just peels right off. I haven't tried putting my feet in yet, but there is plenty of room for a big foot. I'm more than satisfied with this product and its many features,

The auto-opening feature of this wax machine is wonderful. The large opening is perfect for feet. The warm wax definitely helps with painful feet and hands. It is very easy to use and easily adjustable.

The customer service was top notch! We preferred the unscented wax vs scented and Elan from customer service quickly responded with Sure, we can send you some. And followed up with “I see it arrived and how is everything?”The melting pot has a digital temp, which is nice to know the exact temp and my wife knows she is not going to get burned. Can’t go wrong with this Karite.
