Item was great shape but packaging was damaged

i haven't changed my own brake pads in very long time, and it was nice to see how easy these were to do and save some $$$. I watched 3 videos on youtube and saw it was not hard. What made it even better for me was my old pads came out easier than the examples on video. This Bosch kit comes with the brake lube so you don't need to purchase another item. The lube was enough to cover the back of all 4 pads. I recommed have a large flat screwdriver or in my case a small crowbar to push the cylinders back that you will see in the video (easy to do). So for the money I saved not paying a mechanic and the ease of doing, this project turned out well.

These brakes were very easy to install on my 2021 Tacoma. From start to finish, it took about 30 minutes to install both set of brakes.My recommendation is trim the wheel so the brakes are facing outward then take a photo as a reference to ensure the hardware is replaced exactly as it was. These brakes are very quite, I used the grease on the back of the brakes where the calipers contact the brake pad to prevent squeaking when the brakes are applied.

This Bosch kit comes with everything you need to replace (left & right brake pads; 2 pairs of pads, 2 sets of anti-squeak plates, 2 sets of retention spring clips, tube of brake grease and even a 'Bosch-blue' rag! This is the second Bosch brake pad set that included everything - becoming a loyal customer.

Product gets the job done but the package had clearly been opened before and that is not appreciated when buying new parts that are supposed to be a 1 for 1 replacement.
