Rebel Gardening: A beginner’s handbook to organic urban gardening

I first saw the author on earthed.com’s great videos about eco-gardening. I liked his approach so got his book and another he recommended by a Korean pioneer of organic gardening. I like his book the most, it is a quick, easy read; conversational; with loads of great ideas. My book already has lines that I’ve marked off and will return to. First though, I want to grow strawberries above-ground in a hanging disused water bottle.

This book was really inspiring and helpful to me as I decided to grow a garden on my tiny balcony. My gardening thrived! It has sections on how to grow in small spaces that was really helpful to figure out what I could grown and how to lay out my garden to everything had space. The pictures I shared were from the early summer, by August we had to get extra lamps because the garden grew so much it blocked sunlight from coming in.Other helpful things discussed in the book:-sister planting-what to plant to repel pests-what you need to have healthy soil-watering systems-common gardening issues and solutions-list of all the common edible gardening plants and special care/considerations they need.My only thing is that since I'm in a different gardening zone I had to verify ideal times to plant my things but everything else applied
