My 10 year old loves these books!

I bought this book for both my son and myself who just moved to the US. Yang's exploration of cultural identity and the struggles of adapting to a new environment is both thought-provoking and timely, encouraging for us to embrace change.

Nice book

This book talks about a family from Hongkong who fly to US to get away from COVID, being an asian moving to America during that time is quite harsh. Especially if you meet people who don't know how to accept differences. I like the main characters personality and his siblings they're really that kind of children every parents need. Good for any ages, there's a lot to learn.Note: I received it in good condition if you see some little scratches or bent on the cover is because I was bringing it with me to school and to work. ☺

Bought this for my daughter(9yr old). She loved it and now wants me to read it. We will be exploring more titles from this author.
