These units have a sealed battery box so the instructions I received with the lights are accurate. Additionally, the instructions could have been better written. They were evidently written by someone who has a loose handle on the English language. And surprisingly, there are no written instructions for mounting the lights, but there is a puzzling diagram showing them being installed with just two fingers. Are you kidding? If you are able to install these with just two fingers call the folks at Guinness World Records. They were an extremely tight fit over my 2” wide vertical lanai posts. The key to mounting them, if you have a tight fit, is to work just a corner of the clip on the post with TWO HANDS and then slide/push the remainder of the clip on the post. Once on the post it can be slid up or down. Review: Love them! - Love them! They all worked perfectly and gives me the amount of light I needed in my pool area. Easy to install and looks great. Very happy with my purchase.
