Midnight - 100 Gram Box - Satya Sai Baba Incense

I had purchased the 6x15g set of Satya Sai Baba incense to try out the different varieties. I found all but one or two to be quite good, and the midnight and celestial were particular good. So good that I felt somehow mentally stimulated by the aroma, something I've never felt with an incense before. It's true, baby, I swear.I purchased 100g boxes of each of these scents, and eagerly opened the package when it arrived. I immediately tossed some celestial in the coffin and upon the first whiff of smoke, I knew something was horribly, terribly wrong. As good as the incense from the 15g boxes was, this stuff was the polar opposite. It had a very strong perfume odor, which was rather disgusting. I gave it about 1/2 of a stick to correct, in case it was a fluke, and even tested a second stick, but the horrible odor persisted. I then tried the midnight, which was slightly better, but still smelled like old lady's perfume.The first thing I checked was to make sure the 100g box was the same manufacturer as the 15g. Everything was the same, including the address given for the manufacturer in India. The boxes however appear to have been opened, as the tape on one of the ends had been removed. This makes me wonder if the incense had been replaced by counterfeit stuff, if that's even a thing people would do. The incense was also quite crumbly, with a good chunk of dust in the bottom. The stuff in the 15g boxes was a bit crumbly as well, but nothing close to this. The box in general looks like something I probably bought in some dark alley from a guy named Spider.So I'll be doing my nose a favor and returning these two boxes. Guess I'll buy the 15g boxes until they get their production problem or whatever solved.

While there are larger quantities of this particular incense available (like the box of 12 packages of 15 gram per package) you either have to choose an assortment of x12 scents or one scent x12 . It was nice to have the option of a larger quantity than just one small box. Also received a gift of a sampler box! Awesome!

I received a different product than what is pictured. It is not the original Satya brand. It smells ok, but not nearly as good as the original. There a lot of people commenting the same thing, and they are correct. There are two different manufacturers of Satya incense. They have different production methods and clearly one (the original) is much better quality. Since there are multiple sellers of this incense on Amazon, I chose the one with the original Satya pictured, yet I still received the off brand. Not much quality control here on Amazon or the sellers.

This incense is awesome. I burn it late night when I'm feeling like a lonely hippie. It's perfect in a dimly lit room, and even more great when you're about to get lucky. That warm vanilla sandlewood scent will creep into the pheromones of any hopeful woman/man and they will love you long tyme. The scent sticks to your clothes so instead of smelling like cheap cologne and body odor, you smell like you just walked out of a tarot readers basement. It also covers up the smell of cat s***!Love this stuff and the price is great. It's not easy to find at your local smoke shop. Go for it!

I always have a really difficult time finding Satya Midnight and this is it. Box with plenty of sticks for a decent price.

These sticks smell great and have a very sweet smell. Definitely good there. The problem I have with these sticks is they won't stay lit and almost 80% of the sticks I've burnt so far, I had to re-light the stick once or more than once because it would go out after a while before it burnt completely. I am not sure if this is due to one bad batch of sticks or this is a recurring theme on these. I give it 5 stars for the aroma/smell and 3 stars for quality and 4 stars overall.

This burning incense is pretty good. I was actually going to give it a lower rating until I tried a few others which were even smokier than this one and which had an even worse aroma quality. This one actually gives off a fairly nice scent; however, it is a bit messy as it sheds a lot. It is also somewhat smokey. I'll be generous, though, and give it a four star rating, given what else I'm finding out there.

In my search for quality incense I did my homework online reviewing brands and customer reviews and most of the sites I visited recommended a few brands of which the Shrinivas Sugandhalaya Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa incenses were prominent. These Nag Champas included Midnight, Original Sai Baba Nag Champa (blue box) and Superhit which are unique scents in their own right and these convinced me like the millions of incense-users around the world that use this trusted brand.Midnight itself has a sweet lingering scent which emanates during burning and continues to linger three (3) days after. I bought two (2) boxes of the Midnight 100G and after two months I am almost through these and now looking to order more.
