I use this really good quality comb on five different pets, and it works really well with all of their different coats. You can use the thin end on the short-haired animals and the wider toothed end on your long-haired animals. Highly recommend.

This is my cats favorite comb/brush. My short hair cat would would always fight when I tried to brush him. With this he willing lays down and enjoys it . Love this comb. I have used it many time already on my cats. This summer, they are really shedding and this comb was fantastic in doing the job. I found it especially helpful with getting the clumps of hair off with ease and not causing too much discomfort to the cat. I am sooo glad that I found this and you will be too. The comb is heavy duty stainless steel. Teeth are evenly spaced. There is 1 side which is wider spaced and the opposite end is a fine tooth. This is a heavyweight quality comb.
