They worked great
I bought these before a recent trip to Alaska, and I stay at a place where there are no laundry facilities. I wanted to find a way to keep my base layer tops in good shape for a longer period of time, and decided to try these 100% micropolyester tee shirts. They worked great! I was able to wear each one for more than one day, and at the end of a 2-week trip I had used six of the seven I brought.More than once I have dressed for cold weather only to become overheated when walking into a very warm building, which (of course) causes a person to start perspiring. These tee-shirts really helped in that situation.I also like the fit, and didn't care they were men's tee-shirts. Most of the women's tee shirts I saw had little cap sleeves and that is not what I wanted, so the fact these were big through the shoulders and upper arms was a plus; the sleeves came down to just below my elbow and I didn't mind having a little extra through the middle; they are so light weight it didn't matter. Because of how light they are, they also pack very well.I laundered them per the instructions and hung them up to dry; they dry very quickly and there was no shrinkage (though there may be if you put them in the dryer, which is why I didn't). If I had needed to I could have hand-washed them while traveling and they would have dried very fast, but I didn't need to do so. This was my fourth trip to Alaska and the first trip where I didn't need to do laundry during my entire two-week vacation.Definitely recommend!

Comfy!
One of the most comfortable shirts ever. I was actually looking for a replacement for a fave advanced-tech fabric t-shirt I already own when I ordered this: it's nothing like the shirt I was trying to replace, but stands up well in comparison regardless [heavier wt. fabric means this is outerwear, not underwear like the other.] This shirt is very nice in a hot & humid environment; I'll have to wait a few months to find out how it does in dry weather [one of my pet peeves w/ synthetic fabrics is their extreme static production; I do enough of that on my own, I don't need help from my clothes w/ jump-starting my car! ;) ]As stated by other reviewers however, it is *extremely* susceptible to getting caught/snagged/damaged by any rough contact. Ragged fingernail? Bad news. Be on your guard against wearing this with any other outerwear that has Velcro closures! Male velcro [hook] fabric as an especial affinity for attacking this fabric! Cannot stress that enough. This is particularly hard for me since these t-shirts make for a most excellent base layer under my textile riding suit [Aerostich], but which suit, unfortunately, has a long velcro-fastened weather strip to cover the zipper. Doh! :-(Please note that the "Steel Blue" color as displayed in Amazon's product detail is much too close to a Royal Blue than the actual color of the t-shirt, which is a more subdued and elegant shade of blue. Closest description I can think of to use is that the actual color is more similar to the blue in Cappy's suit in _Winter Soldier_. At any rate, me likey!

Nice shirts, but will snag/run very easily
Other reviewers of this line of shirts have made the same remark about the durability of the fabric. It is very easy to cause an unsightly run in the fabric, particularly if you're using a daypack or backpack. If you're using them as a base layer for backpacking, it hardly matters if they get a few runs. But if you're planning on using the shirts for casual wear you may want to consider another brand or fabric type. I have some older Terramar base layer shirts that were also polypropylene but more of a tee-shirt weave and these never had problems with runs, though they did pill slightly.

"Long" short sleeves but for hiking they work as expected
I use these shirts for hiking only so fashion is not a priority. The sleeves are longer than most short sleeve shirts these days so if you like the "shorter" short sleeves don't go with this shirt. That said, for hiking in hot weather, these shirts can't get any lighter and are good for my needs.

As thin as you expect it.
Yes it is a breatheable tee but and it tends to hug your body in a static-y fashion, even if it's a few sizes too large. While it feels like a quality shirt it is quite fragile and not meant to be stretched. The soft fabric may get caught on velcro like surfaces. Best used as a Gym or exercise shirt.

Soft against skin; Fits well; Yellower than image
This shirt certainly does not run large. "Large" seems to have grown larger over the years. The material is soft against my skin, but wicks well. The color is more yellow-green in person than it looks in the online image on my screen. This is not part of my regular rotation of wicking shirts for hiking and backpacking.

Good shirt for the price
Good shirt for the price. The material was a bit thinner than I expected, but it works like a poly shirt should.
