I had expectations of beautiful colored rocks glowing in the dark. They never quite met that expectation. I tried [putting them in glass containers, didn't work. put them spread out in the sun. they faded fast. Not impressed.

I do like these because they add color to my flower pot outside but they don't really glow or create any light. They absorb a little bit of light and then glow a tiny bit

I've had them out there for over a week and we've had plenty sun, they don't glow at night!!!!

Very cute rocks that do glow in the dark if they are exposed to a powerful source of light. I ended up putting them in a bird/bee watering bowl and they get hit with the sun for most of the day and kind of glow if you look at them just as it gets dark.If you are planning on using these in a fish tank or something that receives direct light then they should glow, but if you just want to sprinkle them in your outdoor path the sun won't be enough really.

My kids have been asking for these for their Lego and Minecraft models, and just to play with since they're in love with anything that glows in the dark.These did not have a smell upon opening, each pebble is very smooth, and none were broken upon initial inspection.These pebbles react quickly to daylight, and very quickly to UV. I've found that a blacklight is best for them to keep the glow longer, and just being in the UV light makes them glow intensely. Well, I am not sure why they are not glowing as much as advertised pictures. We spread them g in our dry creek bed; spread a good chunk but not as shiny as it is advertised in dark. I am wondering if there is a special trick or if the pack is defective.
