Inexpensive and Reliable.
Inexpensive and Reliable. Created and tested most of my Cat6 cables. Works. Rechargeable battery is a GREAT design. Side bar is a little loose because of worn plastics. Very basic design and adequate for home cabling.

This Device "Sees" the "Invisible"
Seriously, if you use Cat 5, 6, or 7 IP cables, either manufactured or hand-made, you need this device. I found store-bought cables which had issues with them. And I always check my work when I put the ends on them to be sure that my work is right. Better than that, this little baby saved me hours of time when I was moving equipment from one room to another and had to get the 12 IP cables into the right machines. Simply put the side-car on one end of a cable and plug the main part of the device to the other end and it lights up when you have the right two ends! Perfect if you're doing residential jobs where the IP cables are seldom labeled. You can get more expensive ones, but this one does everything you need and the price is right. Worth every penny and more!

Great tester. Easy to use and understand.
Works great. I bought it to test new Cat 8 bulk cable that I added RJ45 I connectors to. Dislikes - NONE!

Worked Exactly As Described
Years ago I had run both ethernet and coax cable to future proof my barn. After completing a small room/office with both ethernet and coax cable in outlet boxes it was time to hook them up. I had RJ-45 connectors and a crimping tool but the connection wasn't working. Instead of redoing the connectors I searched for a testing tool.I brought the Noyafa Ethernet Tester because the photo in the description clearly showed me exactly what I was wanting to accomplish. It worked flawlessly and showed the faults in the connectors (QC function), which I corrected, and the test function (host and remote) remotely tested the complete length of cable also which worked. Very satisfied!Next I plan to use it to map and label some ethernet cables in my house.

Must Have Item
If you're working on Camera or Ethernet cables you must have this cable checker. Worth its weight in gold for checking if the cable is put together properly. Worked great on my build where we assembled over 100 camera cables. Immediately identified cables that were good and those that were not assembled correctly. Recommend

Ethernet Tester
The product works well, but the instructions are poor. I had to find U-Tube videos to determine how to use the product.
