These socks coupled with Flexitol heel cream fixed my cracked heels in about 3 days. That's pretty amazing. I had a pretty deep fissure on one heel which was making it painful to walk. After doing some research and getting tired of cutting the toes off of my old socks, I decided to invest in these heel socks with gel pads in hopes that they would speed the healing process. They really did! They are a bit tight around the elastic areas which could cause some discomfort for individuals with wider feet. I'm lucky that mine are narrow so the tightness was easier to tolerate. The second photo I've included shoes the heel sock inside out so you can get a feel for where the gel pad lies. I took a bath each night and soaked my heels with Epsom salts, applied Flexitol, and covered both heels with these socks. After only one night, my heels had softened significantly (no I'm not receiving this item for free - I'm just impressed.). After a couple more nights, the cut no longer hurt and the healing really sped up. I would highly recommend these socks and the lotion for anyone with rough heels that aggravate them or just look unsightly. These really impressed me and I'm not easily impressed.

I really wasn't sure if I would like this or that it would even work but after one night of using these with aquaphor on the back of my feet I can already tell a difference. These are so cheap and perfect. There is a soft jelly feeling texture on the inside that covers the heel of your foot. They are not tight or loose they fit perfectly you can barely even tell that you have them on which is great because we live in Arizona and it is really hot out here. I definitely recommend this product.

My old pair lasted about 4 years of off and on wear, so I ordered this set so I had a rotation of pairs to wear to bed. They work great, I would recommend nightly wear if you want consistently soft heels and even pre-moisturize before you slip them on. I wear a women's size 10 shoe and they fit well, a tad on the snug side over my arch, but with time I'm sure they will stretch out a bit, but not so tight I feel like I need to take them off. You'll notice a big different in just a single nights wear, but if you wear every night and moisturize before and after you remove them you will never have cracked heels again - at least that has been my experience with consistent wearing. After my heels are beautiful again, I forget to wear them and I'm back in cracked/dry heel land, so consistency is key. They also wash up in the machine just fine, but I do air dry them, I anticipate a single pair to last a year or longer with daily wear and weekly washing.

I rarely write reviews but I feel I need to shout about this product from a mountain top. Let me start by saying that I HATE socks. Never wear them unless I’m wearing shoes. Definitely cannot sleep in them. This dry weather and walking on our cold wood floors makes my heels so dry and crack, callous, and become super painful to walk on. Gross I know. I bought these 1/2 socks on amazon for $10 and have been using them for 4 nights now and omg my heels are totally healed. 0 pain. 0 cracks. They’re magic. The instructions said they work best with a foot cream so I just used what I always use, The okeefs foot cream. The socks have this silicone pad on the inside that work some sorcery on your heels. I’m seriously amazed. And they’re cut offs so I can wear them to sleep without feeling suffocated. Highly recommend these. My foot saving grace. Even my husband is amazed about how well it works on my nasty heels.

I wear them at nite and they are comfortable but stay on too. Heels become very soft and that's when you should use a moisturizer. Hand wash and air dry...most important.

my heels become very dry easily. i got these in hope of helping some of that but I am better off using Mr. Keffe's foot cream and putting on cotton socks. Also my toes get cold easily so I should have bought full socks, which is my fault but do not buy if you have cold feet because it will not help with that. they slip easily when walking.

Cracked painful heels were resolved almost overnight with these socks! Taking a bath or shower helps first then, I slipped them on and went to sleep. Oh my goodness. I could hardly believe it and after 2 nights they were nearly healed. Now, I just wear periodically to "keep" my feet soft especially as it is now summer and we are wearing flip flops and feet dry out so badly. Now I just slip them on for a night before they get too dry and voila!

My elbows are covered with psoriasis and constantly feel enflamed. Imagine the feeling of a rug burn on your elbows 24/7. They are dry, cracked and scaly and need to be moisturized daily, but it’s hard to keep the moisturizer in place and not getting smeared all over everything. And so it never stays on long enough. The socks alctually fit my arms perfectly. Not too tight. And the gel portion of the sock fits right over my psoriasis patch. I put medication or lotion on my elbows, then slide the socks on, making sure the gel is covering the parts affected with psoriasis and the cream or ointment stays in place for hours! The gel keeps it from soaking into the cotton. Why didn’t I find these sooner!! I hope this review helps someone!! Love them. 🙂

I'm a big girl (300/5') and I was worried these socks would be too tight around my swollen ankles. They are not bad at all. I have the slightest indent, doesn't faze me at all. They are very comfortable. The hell on the heel is really nice and thicker than other socks I tried. If you happen to put cream on under the socks just be aware the heel becomes extremely slippery. They have helped my feet a huge amount. I wish I had taken a picture to show just how bad my cracks were. 1/4"+ deep. I scraped them with the razor I bought off here and then put a cream and socks on immedietly after. I don't wear 24/7 but I throw them back on when it it starts to hurt again. Very easy to hand wash. I just throw them in the sink with some ost and let them be for an hour. Rinse and hang. These are the second brand I tried and the first I returned because the rubber/jell was peeling off after 1 wear and wash. I will buy this one again.

This is so simple and yet so brilliant. I have been using Flexitol heel balm for years on my chronically dry and cracked heels. This product - which I also highly recommend - has prevented the deep painful cracks I used to suffer but when I applied it underneath these gel socks it hugely improves the effectiveness of the cream. I have been applying Flexitol then just wearing ordinary socks overnight and hadn't realised how the socks simply absorb the cream minimizing contact with the dry skin. One application of cream underneath these gel socks and the effect was instantly different. The gel keeps the cream in contact with the skin all night without absorbing it making it many times more effective. I would expect that if your heels have deep painful cracks this approach would give significant relief with a single application as it softens the cracks which makes walking on them so much less painful. Reading reviews I think some people have used the socks without any treatment product and been disappointed but if you read this then try it again with a heel balm and you may change your mind.

I have had problems with really dry cracked heels, I have been using these socks and my heels are already noticeably softer after only a day. I would definitely recommend these socks.

Great for treatment of dry heals. Value for money and great effectiveness for craking heals. Good fit.

Socks are pretty soft. In order to see a difference you really need to use lotion and wear the socks over top. Kind of deceiving because the socks alone did nothing.
