Works well, but will need an extension cord because it's cord is very short. I have an outside electrical outlet near my swimming pool, but the cord was so short it wasn't convenient we still needed to drag out an extension cord. I would suggest they make the cordite least 10" longer otherwise it works well.

Overheats in 10 seconds
This float pump is just terrible. It's hard to use and it overheats quickly. It gets so hot, you cannot hold it.
