I fit this on a window, which is in a corner. As such, flies love hanging out round then when it's warm as it's in the shade. Sadly it's also where my bedroom is, which turns into a sauna, so this ingenius device has solved a problem. Fitting it is easy, just cut to the right size, stick on your magnets and away you go. Once it's fitted, it's not easy to see the mesh as it's so fine. I'll give it a proper test throughout the year and see if that works, but so far so good.

Fine mesh, stops insects down to gnat size, so ive had tiny gnats appear on house plants and theyve got between this and the window pane. However that really is a specific case, regular flies, mosquitoes are excluded easily.Fitting was okay, i resorted ro taping in place, nothing else worked as well.

With care the screen can look tidy (but be aware that the grey net stands out against white window frames so it needs to be cut very straight and neat). Does not block the view at all. Will I'm sure keep out mosquitoes, and I'd be happy except that the magnets aren't strong enough to produce the tension that's needed. Strong wind creates gaps. Worse, larger insects like wasps bash against the net and create gaps around the edge that they can fly through. They then of course get stuck inside because the technique doesn't work in the other direction, so if you have wasps / bees / big flies you may find that these nets cause more problems than they solve. If not, they're a good cheap solution for the smaller stuff.

It would have been better if they supplied more magnets as there is lots of netting but no fixtures

I got this as I like to have the windows open with the lights on at night and flies etc kept coming in.There is a large piece of mesh and 15 magnets. You need to be able to have a large flat surface to lay out the mesh to cut as an accurate cut is important.The magnets come in two pieces which are quite small and removing the backing tape can be fiddly but it is worth persevering.First you fit the magnet to the window frame then you add the backing plate. I guess you could speed this up by attaching both at the same time but this might be tricky as the sticky sides are very sticky. Altho it takes a while it is wort it in the end.Once the magnet and backing plate are up you simply offer up the pre cut mesh and press it to the sticky side of the magnet plate. This is where you realise that accurate cutting is important! However at this stage it is still possible to relocate the magnets slightly on the window frame if needed (I did!)Once the mesh is securely attached to the magnets there is an additional cover to add over the mesh / magnet area. Again a little fiddly to remove the backing paper but finishes off the look and stops the sticky side being open to the air.Once up the mesh is virtually invisible and the magnets make it easy to lift off to open and close the window.Overall I am very pleased with this and it was worth persevering with the fiddly parts.

When I installed it in the window, it comes off when the wind lightly blows. The magnets should be stronger or something, but I personally spent 17 GBP for a product that does not work.

Ment to be cat proof our kitten kept pulling it off the window so magnets aren't that strong so wouldn't recommend

This set was got to cover a window temporarily so the boys room can have the window left open in the evenings without admitting the moths.You get a piece of plastic feeling net which is grey, small mesh and 58" by 60"There is no edging or anything as you are expected to cut it to size using your own household scissors.We had enough of the mesh for covering both the opening windows in the room.Along with the netting, you get a bag of magnets with self adhesive backing.These are thankfully all paired up and separately bagged which is great as it means you arent having to try to wrench them apart.The pieces with the white tape are magnetised and the pieces with the red are not.You also get a pack of sticky pads with no magnet or metal on.The red bits are for sticking around the window frame.They are really thin .Put on the frame and not the window itself so theres no problem with getting magnets stopping a window from shutting.Next, you DONT put the net up...Instead you sit each of the white backed magnetic pieces onto the stripss already fitted.Peel off the white backing. Its best to do a side at a time because you need to hold the netting up to the sticky side AND then put a sticky pad on top of it so the glue holds through the netting, you ARENT putting the net up and holding it with the magnet on top, this is to make it removable and replaceable easily rather than having to set them out again every time.Job done.Remember you will have to open a flap where the handle comes to open and shut your window so its worth planning the magnet positions with this in mind.We have previously used velcro fixed netting which is horrible to remove when it starts to get a bit manky and a bit of a pain to pull away to get to the handle.I like this magnet version. Its easy to remove the net and fold it back up when you dont want it on there and the magnets dont stand out too much when the net isnt attached.

Facile à installer et solide. Et si elle s’enlève elle se remet parfaitement.

La mosquitera cumple su función perfectamente, sería perfecto si quedara sellado por todos lados pero eso ya sabes de antemano que no es así ya que se pega con imanes así que se adherirá tanto como imanes le pongas. Tienes que tener en cuenta que uno de los lados de la ventana te queda sin uso si no te caerá la malla al abrir el otro lado de la ventana.Os enseño foto de una instalada y que ni notas que está.

Fliegengitter installiert man am besten, bevor unsere lieben kleinen Mitbewohner zum Rundflug abheben - nämlich im Frühjahr, aber wenn Ihr altes Fliegengitter kaputt ist, dann muss es dringend ersetzt werden, was ich getan habe.Hier bekommt man genau die richtige Barriere, selbst Obstfliegen haben bei der Maschenweite dieses Netzes keine Chance. Man kann es mit dem beiliegenden die Magnetstreifen und Klettband befestigen, was besonders bei Kunststofffenstern die erste Wahl sein dürfte. Dadurch lassen sich die Netze leicht abnehmen und gegebenenfalls waschen. Hier sollte man sich aber keinen Illusionen hingeben, denn auch wenn mir bei diesem Produkt noch die Langzeiterfahrung fehlt, ist die Beständigkeit von Polyester generell überschaubar.Fazit: Zufriedenstellendes Mosquitonetz, leicht zuschneidbar, attraktiver Preis.
