Trunk Show-Ainsley

Gorgeous for adult collectors! Very versatile pieces to use with other dolls. Got her on sale and it would definitely be a great gift for kids but adults will love her edgy looks as well! Her hair quality is nice after washing out the gel and her makeup is gorgeous- mine had a patch missing shimmer on her cheek but I'm going to repaint her face so it wasn't a problem for me. The only downside is the RH packaging- the box looks beautiful but creates a lot of non-recyclable waste if you're unboxing her.

My girlfriend's daughter just had a birthday and I bought a few of these rainbow dolls and we had seen the same one at Walmart for $50 and I don't know how much cheaper I got this one but it was a lot less that $50. They're so cute and it's the perfect First doll if you haven't got any of them yet. She's my favorite out of the dolls and my partners daughter is crazy about the dolls too, they have the best outfits. Any young girl will love this!

Gorgeous doll, very happy. Her make up is perfect, not wonky at all. A few slight dents and tears in her box, wont be a problem if you take the dolls out of the box anyway. Good for the $30 i bought her for since she comes with the 3 extra outfits. Would recommend.

I am mainly writing this review to talk about the purple clothing rack in one of the pictures. Here's the review of the doll/set: This is a good set. Grab it at a sale price. The doll is cute and is exclusive to this package - there is no other release of Ainsley (as of Dec. 1 2022). The clothes are the real draw, especially for the Shadow High dolls. While this is called "The Trunk Show", there is no 'trunk' included. So far, no Shadow High dolls have been released with the clear acrylic boxes/trunks that were released with special Rainbow High dolls (even though the prices remain the same *ahem*). One of the listing's pictures features a purple clothing rack. This purple clothing rack is not a toy, and it is not available anywhere. It is made by hand out of 13 pencils, and can be a fun DIY for most kids (Adult supervision recommended) or adult collectors. It does not have to be made out of pencils. It can be made out of any small-sized dowel rods, sticks, pens, etc. The rack in the picture is made out of 13 sharpened pencils. Of these 13 pencils, the structure itself requires 9 pencils, 2 of which must be shorter than the rest (and equal to each other). The bottom shelf will require 4 pencils across - the whole shelf in the picture has 6 pencils across, and 2 of those are needed for overall stability. While you can alter the number of pencils used for the bottom rack (to make it deeper or shallower), it will take a minimum of 9 pencils to make the main structure of the rack. The rack, when made out of pencils, is not tall enough to hang pants or long dresses. If you want yours to be tall enough to hang pants/dresses on, substitute the 4 pencils used as the sides with longer pencils/dowels/sticks. You can alter the number of pencils on the bottom to make the rack shallower or deeper. You can alter the length of the pencils to make it wider or thinner. The length of the pencils on the bottom will determine how deep or shallow your rack will be. Both shortened pencils must be equal in length. Longer pencils will make a deeper shelf; shorter pencils will make a shallower shelf. The rack will not be very stable if you make the rack too shallow in depth! Total height will also be affected by how shallow/deep you make your stand – deeper rack = shorter total height. Perhaps someday I'll make a video showing how to make this.

She's such a cool doll, and was a total steal at the pre-Prime Day price of less than $20! Ten-year-old loves her, and I almost got one for myself, LOL! I wish I had now! She's great, and has cool outfits! Would (obviously) buy again!

Very excited to add Ainsley to my collection, she is very beautiful and comes with lots of outfits. Great price for so many pieces. Arrived in perfect condition and much faster than expected as i am all the way in the UK. No import fees either its all paid for when you order :)
