Thrilled to have found these barrettes! I used to use ones just like these years ago. I had been looking but couldn't find small barrettes with a clasping mechanism that would work with my thick hair. Then I remembered the ones I used to have and searched for them on Amazon and found them! I love the small size! Perfect for holding just a small bunch of hair. I love the way these close! They are easy to open and stay closed even when full of thick hair. I adjust the metal slightly by bending it outward just a smidge to accommodate my thick hair. It works beautifully! And the tortoiseshell color blends nicely with my dark hair. Love, love, love!

I have very fine hair, which is also thinning. These are the only barrettes that don't slide off. For me they are pefrect. They disappeared from store shelves years ago, but I found them on Amazon.

TINY. and the plastic back breaks if you have to much hair. These are SMALL

It's rare to find something that remains the same despite the passage of time. I've been buying these for years and they never disappoint. Now, if only they had GPS trackers on them ...

These stay in place & blend in with hair pretty well for those who don't want the 'hey look at my barrette' look. I have thick heavy hair and these are perfect for exercise class. Wish I could find the longer ones.

These hard to remove on my thick hair. I am using them to pull back my bangs. The plastic on the top of the Barrett has popped off 2 of them. A total waste of money.

I have been looking everywhere for these. They don’t carry them in the stores anymore and I am down to my last barrette (I lose them, they don’t break). So happy to find these and a great price.
