Excellent Primer
JOAH Heal Me CICA PrimerThis is a silicone-based primer that has a lot of hydrating ingredients and should work for dry to combination skin types. I have tried so many primers and most of them are okay but they haven't been anything special. You either get pore reduction or moisturizing but not together as this one does. I have super dry and sensitive skin and this is almost perfect. It works well with my other skin care and creates a really nice base for my foundation so it looks flawless.I found that this primer has a minty feel when you apply it - it is cooling and has a faint mint scent which is the cooling sensation you feel. It doesn't last long. This comes in a basic plastic tube.#alcohol-freeKey IngredientsAntioxidant: Centella Asiatica Extract, TocopherolSkin-identical ingredient: GlycerinSoothing: Centella Asiatica Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf ExtractSunscreen: Titanium Dioxide ALL INGREDIENTS BY FUNCTIONColorant: Titanium Dioxide, Chromium Oxide GreensEmollient: Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf ExtractEmulsifying: PEG-10 Dimethicone, Lauryl PEG-10 Tris(Trimethylsiloxy)silylethyl DimethiconeMoisturizer/humectant: Centella Asiatica Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Propanediol, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Butylene GlycolPerfuming: Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) OilPreservative: EthylhexylglycerinSolvent: Cyclopentasiloxane, Water, Cyclohexasiloxane, Dipropylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Propanediol, Propylene Glycol, Butylene GlycolSurfactant/cleansing: Lauryl PEG-10 Tris(Trimethylsiloxy)silylethyl DimethiconeViscosity controlling: Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Silica, Sodium Chloride, Propylene GlycolIngredientsCyclopentasiloxane, Water, Cyclohexasiloxane, Dipropylene Glycol, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Lauryl PEG-10 Tris(Trimethylsiloxy)silylethyl Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hdi/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Centella Asiatica Extract, Polypropylsilsesquioxane, Pentylene Glycol, Silica, Sodium Chloride, Ethyl Menthane Carboxamide, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Ethylhexylglycerin, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Propanediol, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Tocopherol, Titanium Dioxide, Chromium Oxide Greens

VERY cooling. If won’t like extreme cooling effect, skip this! Otherwise, hydrating and smoothing!
This comes in a tube with a pump. It pumped out fine the first few uses, giving a thick but creamy consistency. But after about 5 uses, it started becoming a struggle to pump out. I have to really shake the tube and squeeze it or else it’ll not come out at all or it’ll come out kind of runny like it’s separated. It’s kind of a pain, but once I figured out I needed to shake it a bunch and squeeze the tube before trying to pump it out. Since then it’s been fine. When applied this gives a VERY cooling effect. It isn’t a slight or subtle cooling effect. If you don’t like that kind of cooling effect, this will not be for you! It was a little off-putting at first because I was expecting it to be more subtle. But, I do like it. It’s nice to help me wake up in the morning! It does help reduce my redness. I don’t have a lot but get red on and around my nose and chin area. This reduces that nicely. It hydrated and smoothed my skin. I have small pores that I notice when I look close up, but they’re not large, but this helped reduce the look of my pores when I looked up close after applying this and my foundation. My foundation applied nice and smoothly. It helped my foundation stay looking nice throughout the day.Overall, I really like this. If the pump was better, it would be an easy 5 stars. But, I figured out how to get it to pump, so I’m still happy with it! Like I said before, if you won’t like an extreme cooling effect, then you probably won’t like this. But, if you would like that, this is a great hydrating and smoothing primer!

Not for me
The primer may not be for my skin type. Feels cooling in the skin. Almost too cooling. Got a bad reaction to it. Dried out my chin. Did not really notice a blurring effect.

Feels great - really cools
I didn't buy this on Amazon - I bought it at a national drug store chain - but I like it so much I thought I'd write a review. This stuff is nice. I have very sensitive skin and it does not irritate my skin at all. It feels very cool going on and the cooling lasts for about 10 minutes which is nice. I didn't see much of a blurring effect but it's still a nice primer. I would buy it again.

Comes out watery, still usable
As title suggests (and looking at other reviews) I think they have a mixing issue as the product seems to separate in the bottle. Even if I shake vigorously the first pump is mostly liquid then I get product afterwards and mix it together in my hand. It’s still usable, provides a nice cooling feeling, and does smooth over my skin as a good makeup base but the separation issue is hard to ignore. It’d be 5 stars from me without this problem but as is I can only give it 3 and I don’t think I’d repurchase.

The product was faulty..
This product was separated in the tube. It came out like oily water with small white chunks. It was nasty, RETURN!!
