Very helpful when suffering pain with arthritis its important to support the hands & keep them warm in cold whether, these go some way to help,give them a try.

Have purchased this brand of gloves for my Mother before, so knew they were good. Great for pain relief & comfortable to wear. Easy to wash too.

After measuring my hand correctly I went for the small size but the inner gloves were so tight it cut off the circulation to my fingers. But they were clean cut and warm with the second layer so I replaced them with the next size up. However, the fingers are frayed and someone has tried to cut the material at the top of the fingers, along with loose threads. This second pair is not new and will be returned. I’ve included photos so you can make informed decisions on the quality of the product.UPDATEAlso, since then I’ve tried the large size which are now also being returned. My hand measured perfectly for the small gloves. But even the large version cuts off circulation to the fingers when using the inner gloves! They are so poorly made. The outer gloves are great, warm and the wool doesn’t pull too easily, but they are not worth £16.99 considering you can’t use the other half of the product!

I ordered these because of the pains in my hands associated with both fibromyalgia and probable arthritis. A bit of pressure and warmth on my hands eases the pain. So we decided to go for these. Because my measurement for the gloves was at the upper end of the small size and because I have chunky hands, I ordered the medium size. I have chunky arms too, so the band on the wrist/arm bit was a bit too thick and tight, so I have cut them down. I also had to cut the fingers down as I have small fingers (I can wear children's gloves!), which was easy enough because of the material. They do actually restrict full use of my hands, even though they are fairly comfortable, so I took a star off of he rating because of that. They should help with the pain, without stopping your range of movement, which it does impede the movement. I don't know if they is because my hands are small. They also make my fingertips go cold and slightly blue, even though they don't feel too tight. So these would be pretty useless if I needed to wear them as I did anything much with my hands, but helpful to just sit around in. For me they aren't the best choice, but that is purely for me. If you have longer, more slender hands, you will probably be alright. I would go up to the next size, but surely that would take away the compression.

Got the sizing exactly right on these and they felt like the right level of compression. Unfortunately, within a few hours of use, one seam had already started to split. This wasn't a mis-sizing issue: it's a quality control issue. Not recommended.
