I had purchased this product 2 years ago and it has worked very well for my dog. He is a 18lbs chihuahua mix that has a long profile (like a weenie dog) which makes things challenging at times. This car seat has been a real game changer as he no longer has any interest to wonder around while driving and you can tell that he feels secure as he quickly lays down to fall asleep. In the 2 years I had it, the side walls remained pretty sturdy even when he tried to stand on the sides - yes it curved but it never buckled.Had my car not have been broken into, and glass shattered into the dog seat, I would still be using the same one from years ago. Thanks for this great product as I buy a new one for the car :)

My poodle is losing a leg next week so I wanted something that would hold him as a tripod. He is about 17lbs. I added a small throw pillow and his blanket and he still has plenty of room to stretch out. May throw a toy in there with him next time. Installing it was easy! The large handle that pulls through the bottom of the seat was appreciated as I've got arthritis and can't manipulate smaller stuff. Gave me a really good grip to get it secured into my cars bucket seat. Three sets of straps attach it to the seat and it doesn't budge a bit. Definitely want to make sure the seat you are utilizing is one that you can get the straps behind. Would not be good for a bench seat if cars still have those.

recently purchased this dog car seat for my French Bulldog( 20ish lbs), and overall, it's doing the job. It keeps her secure while we're driving, which is the most important thing. The size is a good fit for a smaller breed like a Frenchie, and it's easy to install in the car.The seat itself doesn’t have much padding it’s basically fabric over the base so for comfort, I’d definitely recommend adding a small blanket or a thin bed. I picked one up from Five Below, and it made a big difference for the comfortability during ride.If you're looking for a budget-friendly option that keeps your dog safe and in place, this is a good choice . Just plan to add a little extra cushioning to make it cozy.

So comfortable she can sleep in it. I love that it’s big enough to out her own blanket and stuffed animal in. The strap makes it easy to be safe and attach to her collar and car. At first I did think it was going to be softer on the inside. The sides are tall enough for her to look out of but also big enough for her to lay down in. It was easy to remove and put from the back seat ti front. It looks like a little black box you can make if scar you want. The look went well with my seats.

Front panel easily bends even with heavy duty Velcro.

Really like the size best product for my needs. Simple and nice.
