Good hair product as always

I was disappointed because this was my favorite hair product and it disappeared for a while. I thought it was discontinued. It looks like it's finally back, but for the better? I'm not sure.They seemed to use the time of its absence to re-brand. The container looks a lot nicer and has been replaced from a cheap plastic with a classier metal container. However, if I remember correctly, it now comes with less product (it's deceptively taller to make it seem like its bigger, but its only 3.3 oz) and the price is now about 30% more expensive.The product itself also seems to be different. I still like the hold compared to other products, but it seems a lot shiner now, almost greasy. Overall, not impressed with the re-brand so far, and I miss the old product, however, it is still quality and my negatives are just based on what it used to be.

A pretty good pomade for my two sons. Both style their hair very different from the other. I actually style their hair for them every single morning before school. I like using products that are easy, no fuss, and work well. One of our biggest issues is the flaking. By the time they get home...white flakes all over their head. This product interested me...wanted to see if it solved any issues.A very thick, sticky white product. I was skeptical. I get a glob and place on my palms. Rub my hands together to get it warm and malleable. That proved to be a little difficult. It's just so clumpy and sticky. Placing onto hair....still thick, still a bit of a process. I notice that the white stickiness seems to go away. Once worked into the hair it gives the hair texture in which to style. It works if you want to create style, volume, hold a certain look....doesn't work as great for a simple natural look unless you apply a small amount at a time. In that case I suggest dabbing some on finger tips and brushing fingers through the scalp/root area. For my oldest son...I work some onto his roots...and work down with his longer hair for wave. My youngest sons hair is shorter....with that I dab with my finger tips to get a textured look or brush back for a smooth simple look. I discover no flaking which is the biggest plus. The hold last until they get home from school. That's about 8 hours. The scent is pleasant for them. It's a mild cologne smell. Reminds me of the smells you get when visiting a barber shop.

My boyfriend likes this pomade a lot. It holds very strong all day, whereas many others give up mid-day. He loves the texture and hold of it, and has remarked several times how much he likes it, but when I told him the price, he thought $24.95 is too much. He normally only spends $7-10, but agreed that for the quality and that the quantity was slightly more than what he normally uses, $15-20 would be fair.

It has a stronghold and it last all day. It doesn't have a strong scent to it. I also like to using hair spray along with it just in case. Other than that, its a good pommade.

This is by far my favorite Pomade! It's the only one I've tried that doesn't quit half way through the day and have to re-wet my hair. The smell is good too, not too overpowering or smell like silicone. The price tag is a bit high, but for this level of product, It's worth it to me. I will definitely be ordering this product regularly. I have short wavy hair and this keeps it in check for me. By the dime size amount I use daily, this should last about a month to month and a half.

My son is very particular about his hair. He is very critical about his hair products and while it does work, it's not the best pomade he's used. I'm a little sensitive to smells and I'm not a fan of this one- but I'm also not a fan of those musky smells, so this isn't a favorite of mine. The hold is good but not as firm as one might think. Most pomades come in a shorter and wider tin but this one is taller and slimmer so it's going to be kind of hard to get down in the bottom of the tin. I'm not sure I will be getting this again because I don't feel it's worth the price point when there are others that are cheaper and work just as well or better than this one.
