Simple.
Single Piece. It's not a mount with a snap-on cover like I assumed. It's basically a single molded piece of plastic. That said it suited the purpose just fine. It fit the siding pretty well, too. Kind of pricey for what it is.

Was not a perfect fit for my particular Dutch Lap.I had to do a little bit of trimming with a utility knife. Really not too bad.Will probably fit other types of Dutch Lap with no problem.I will definitely use these again

I have these on multiple applications. My generator connect, outdoor outlets and dryer exhaust. Great for updating older homes like mine.

Doesn’t sit flush but still works
I had to cut the circle out for my brackets to work but this mounting plate is exactly what I needed for my new lights.They are very sturdy and tough so cutting a large hole out was a pain and didn’t make installing as seamless as I had hoped.But since these are made of hard plastic vinyl they well last much longer than the weird foam mounts that my house came with (built in 1993… I’ve been replacing everything)
