Warning! Could be uncomfortable for the ears.
To my great surprise, they are not comfortable. I have been using SteelSeries Arctis 7 for many years, and other headphones before, and had no issues. I started to google, and found lots of people complaining about the same. There are large discussions on Reddit where people recommend buying 3D printed cushion adapters and install cushions from other models. Also, there is a very long stick inside the ear cushion that can stick to your ear. For me, it doesn't bother me as much, it's just my ears get very tired, while I could use the previous version for 7-8 hour nonstop. In any case, I am still trying to get used to them. Otherwise, these are the best headphones on the market feature wise. I will update this review if I decide to change ear cushions. ***Update after a week of use*** I got used to the cushions or/and they became softer quite quickly. The "hook" doesn't bother me either; I am quite lucky. It is possible to "hang" the headphone a little higher by adjusting the strap, thus changing the location of the hook. Love the features and quality of the sound for gaming. As I use wireless, it is inferior to my bose when listening to music. I love the simultaneous wifi/Bluetooth connection and the ability to answer my phone without changing the headphones. This is SUPERB. Although I lost a couple of counter-strike rounds due to alarms/calls and my phone being in a different room, so I might decide to still play with that feature further. Changing my rating to 4. Update after a month of use: Changing the rating to 5. The headphones are superb and no longer bother me at all. They became as soft as needed. I mean, they are still quite stiff but totally comfortable. Being able to be connected to your phone and PC is a game changer.

The pinnacle of gaming headsets!
I have been anti-gaming headset for quite some time. Once upon a time i bought into the Razer, Turtle Beach and Astro hype. Even had a few Hyper-X models. Then decided to try my audiophile Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro for gaming and never looked back. Since then i have used Hifiman HE4xx, Sennheiser 58x, Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro's and a slew of other dynamic and planar magnetic headphones for my gaming pleasure. However, after watching several reviews on these Arctis Nova's, i decided to purchase a set for my wife as she is allergic to wires and wanted to have the freedom that only wireless provides. While setting up the headphones for her, i tested them in games and with high res Spotify tracks. I was floored at the sound quality. Not quite as crisp as my Beyerdynamic DT1990's, but a far cry from the gaming headsets of yore. Sub-bass response was impressive and I liked the ability to adjust the soundstage. They were comfortable even though the earcups are pleather and while typically i prefer velour or Steelseries own AirWeave, i found my ears were not as toasty as i expected them to be. I once wore them for 4 hours straight and forgot they were on my head! I was so impressed, i bought another pair for myself. Steelseries GG software is easy to navigate and setup, and I set up the EQ to mimic the sound profile of my Beyer's. I still use Audiophile grade headphones for serious music listening, but I've permanently switched to these Nova's as my daily drivers and I can now enjoy being able to take a potty break or grab a snack from the kitchen while being able to hear my games/music in the background (especially helpful when you're queuing for matchmaking!) while no longer having to deal with the first world problem of inadvertently yanking out my headphone cable from my headphone amplifier by mistake which happens far more often than i'd like to admit!

Definitely the best I've ever had.
Sound quality 9/10 Sound is absolutely amazing and the directly audio is the best ive experienced. The active noise cancelling is amazing for any constant low droning noises in your room such as an AC or room fan. The active noise cancelling does NOT help with higher pitch droning noises such as pc fans. My only complaint in regards to sound would be that it does not get as loud as I would like for some songs. Build quality 8/10 So far, it holds up really well. Only complaint for build quality would have to be the magnetic covers on each side. The outside of the covers are made of some kind metal that has had grooves machined into it. The issue with it is that these grooves are incredibly sharp and scrape off any dirt, oil, or skin that comes into contact with it. IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP IT CLEAN FOR LONGER THAN 10 SECONDS! battery life 5/10 Advertised battery life is 18h-22h. I have not had either of the batteries last longer than 12h and is something that gets on my nerves. I'm giving 5/10 because they have not started a fire... so yay??? Connectivity 7/10 While the base station is pretty cool and offers, what I would consider, a very wide range of options. The time it takes for the headset to connect is something I would consider well above expected connection Time with each connection time taking around 13-15seconds, a lot longer than I would have expected for something of this price range. The range on the headset seems reasonable, but is definitely shorter than my old pair of arctis 9, a much cheaper headset. Mic quality 6/10 I've had a few friends ask me to repeat myself when using the mic but is normally okay after adjusting the mic location. Recommend to a friend 8/10 I would definitely recommend the nova pro. It's a great sounding, comfortable, well built headset with amazing directional audio. Is it worth the price? It's too early for me to say, if it lasts 4-5+ years without degradation or breaking then it will definitely be worth it.

The best headset there is for pc gaming and entertainment. Only downside is you need to buy a cooling ear rest.

Why did you choose this product over others?: After officially play-testing the Arctis Nova Pro for over 300 hours, I can confidently say this is one of the best headsets I’ve ever used. The comfort is absolutely unmatched—thanks to the over-ear design and soft cushioning, I can wear them for long gaming sessions without any soreness or discomfort. Whether it’s a quick 30-minute play or an all-night session, these headphones stay comfortable throughout. One standout feature is the removable dual-battery system. It’s brilliantly designed—while you’re using one battery, the other charges in the base station. I’ve never run out of power mid-game, which is a huge bonus. The GG Control Panel app is another excellent addition. It integrates seamlessly with your PC and offers a wide range of sound presets tailored for different games and activities. Whether you’re trying to pick up footsteps in Call of Duty or blasting some drum and bass to unwind, this headset handles it all effortlessly. The audio versatility is incredible. Build quality is solid and premium—everything feels robust and well-engineered. I was so impressed, I even bought another set for a family member. One small tip: when powering them on for the first time, be aware of the volume restriction setting (required by EU regulations). If left enabled, it might limit your ability to fully enjoy some of the more powerful sound presets. I’m not advising whether to enable or disable it—that choice is entirely yours—but just offering honest feedback based on my experience. Overall, highly recommended. If you’re serious about sound quality, comfort, and reliability, the Arctis Nova Pro is absolutely worth it. Design: The build quality is unmatched

Very comfortable for hours of use. Easy access to buttons. Connects well with PS5 and offers excellent 3D sound. Big fan! Much better than the playstation headphones
