I used this kit to repair one of my portable chairs that had one of its arm’s canvas torn from the frame. I contemplated taking it to a seamstress but that would have been very expensive. I thought about throwing it away, but the chair was relatively new and I really liked it.So, I saw this kit and decided to give it a try. I am sure glad that I did. The kit includes everything that you will need to do some heavy duty sewing. It includes thick waxed thread, and an assortment of heavy-duty needles, including curved ones. It was easy for me to thread the needle and I was able to repair the chair in less than 10 minutes. It was so easy and the chair was as good as new. This kit saved me a lot of money and extended the life of one of my favorite chairs. You only need basic sewing skills to use this kit so, do not be scared to get it if you need it.

This is great, the thread is exactly what we needed, just the right thickness, nice and strong, and we love the assortment of needles. Also the thread is a true black, not a grayish or washed-out black like some thread. Excellent value!We'll be back to post an update on its durability over time, especially for one project which will get rained on a lot.

Worked perfect to attach felt roses and chains to a vest for prom. Boyfriend wanted a Ryan Ross rose vest and I said alright! Worked amazing. Great price for how many needles you get in varying thickness and more than enough thread. Needless easily punctured through the felt and fabric. Thread was thick enough to hold everything on even while he danced and every time they accidently got yanked.

The only reason for 4 stars is that I haven't had a chance to use it yet. The needles and thread seem to be off good quality. Will update when used.

Very good string. The wax makes it stick to itself well. No slipping. Used it to close a wear hole on a fabric seat in my Nissan. Looks great, works well and is heavy duty. Should last years with normal use. If it ever opens up again, I only used about ten feet of thread. Still have another 18 miles or so of it.

Loved the grey color but there is WAY too much wax on this thread! When you get it threaded wax falls all over the place when you pull thru the eye of needle. You can scrape it off with your fingernail and get a lot of it off but no time to remake this thread for sewing signatures into my journals
