I purchased this as a gift for my niece. She likes the color. Its sturdy.

Got a black and silver one for my grandson (5) last year and it is a hit! Its like an ATM depository/safe concept which the kids love. Got the lavendar one with fingerprint access for my granddaughter whos 8 and she so happy! Its their “personal” space!

I gave this as a gift for my 8 year old son. He has loved it since! He loves the finger print scan feature and thinks it’s so cool! And surprisingly it’s doesn’t feel or look cheap

Item looks nice but feels flimsy. The instructions are confusing and use terms like “standby mode” w/out defining what that is supposed to be ( door open or closed? Batteries in or out?). Default password also is not in the instructions. I had to track my order here on Amazon to find it. All this makes set up very frustrating. And lengthier than it should be for an item like this.Finally got it working, which thrilled my 10yo daughter as she’d asked for it as a birthday present ( today). That lasted 10 minutes (exactly two uses of the combo and opening the door) before the combo stopped working. Lots of tears fromMy daughter on her birthday.I went back to Amazon and looked through answered questions. Found a comment about taking the batteries out to reset it if the reset button does not work ( this items reset button did not work). Took the batteries out waited a few minutes and then reinserted another new set of batteries, used the default code and made a personal password again. Yay!!!Once again it stopped working after two uses and about five minutes.My daughter through her tears:”Please don’t make me use the ugly bank again daddy”.My opinion? This item is totally unreliable and a bad move for kids ( who it’s marketed for) as having piggy bank money stuck in a “safe” that fails so frequently is super stressful. My poor daughter thought her allowance money was gone forever. If you want an emotional torture device for your loved ones go ahead and go for it. Otherwise, save your money and look elsewhere. Your kids will need a lot less therapy later in life.I’m returning this one.

This is a toy and not a real safe, but good for small children. The "thumb print" is not actually a thumb print, its the just a button that looks like its a fingerprint access button. Children will forget the combo but its pretty simple for an adult to reset. Overall good product, but could be easily broken open.

Whoever wrote the instructions should fight me. Having a 2 year old and 6 year old absolutely raging with excitement as I try to decode these super fun “instructions” for 2 banks I bought for them… only to have to youtube how to reset the default passcode. Once I got that figured out on both banks, they both went rogue and started speaking Chinese repeatedly, nonstop, RELENTLESSLY… and of course wouldn’t allow the door to open to switch it to the “off” position.Exchange out batteries for brand new ones you say? Sure. Great idea… if you want the dollar intake to stop working for no reason. And if you’re having trouble opening one of your kids’ with their own fingerprints that you just sold your soul in order to program it to their specific bank…. just have them swap banks and voila… the whole point of them having their own private bank tailored to their personal fingerprint was less than impressive.And if all that doesn’t sell you on these bad boys, sometimes there’s a surprise alarm that nobody set but still goes off at 3am and starts screaming in Chinese as your kids are sleeping but now they’re also screaming so we have English and Chinese raging at the same time, at 3am. even though you had the switch set to mute. But k.Can’t return these possessed alarm clocks that in no way shape or form do what they’re supposed to do which is…. protect one’s money…. cause their window was less than 1 month on returns.Big fan, big fan.
