What's that Bird?: A Beginner's Guide (DK What's That?)

This book is great. I recently moved and I now have the opportunity to feed the birds and I’ve had many visit my feeders that I had no idea what they were. This book has helped me a lot

This book may be geared for beginners but do not let that fool you. This book is wonderfully illustrated and bird look up is easy by color, by shape ad so on. My 83 year old Dad just loves it!

High quality pics and descriptions of local birds. Great for a new bird watcher.

This is a tiny book but after putting birdseed on our window sill, my husband used this to identify every bird that had shown up to eat. Of course, it would be nice to see both males and females but it is sufficient.

Not detailed enough. Take the words "beginner's guide" seriously. Would have been good to have more male/female comparisons.

Our grand-daughter is into bird watching and just wanted something to help identify birds. This was recommended so we ordered it for her. She loves it and likes how it's small enough to carry when we take her out.

I like the descriptions and the pictures are great. I would have liked a picture of each bird male and female. Enjoyed learning about habitats.
