Installed easy and worked perfectly with my safe that had a previously damaged digital lock

Excellent replacement for my Winchester safe. The original just quit working one day. Simple install. Very happy.

Have a Winchester TS26-45 safe the keypad stopped working on. It was giving 4 quick beeps. What I could find said that was a major error/failure and needed replaced. So I looked at many replacements. This had a good review so tried it. First, the keypads swap out with no need to change the mounting bracket (old one on top in picture to compare to new one installed). The cable feeds right through the hole the old one come out of with no issues to plug into the motherboard. The motherboard swaps out fine, screwholes line up perfectly (new installed old to left for comparison). One concern I had was the solenoid for the lock. The one it comes with (last picture) looks nothing like the one on the safe (3rd picture) but the plug is not a concern because you just use the old cable and it fits into the plug on the motherboard no issues. Reprogramming the combination is easy. Just use the red button on the cable, plug it into the plug on the left on the motherboard board and follow directions they send. Super easy. Will see how this one holds up. For the price cheaper than others I looked at that seemed more complicated. Hope this helps.

This lock assembly proved to be what I needed to fix my Redfield gun safe. The lock assembly I had drained a new battery in a matter of hours so I used this to replace the original safe lock. The combination pad was an exact fit. The other parts...not so much. The electronic board is much smaller that the original but I was able to mount it in the location of the original. The solenoid that comes with this kit is very small and seems to be a little weak so I used the original solenoid and rewired it with the plug from the included solenoid. I'm satisfied with the results and hopefully the battery will still be up in the morning. If you're handy and need to fix an inexpensive gun safe, this lock set will work just fine. You may have to make some "adjustments" to the assembly but I'm happy with the results.

A perfect drop-in for my Buffalo River safe. Works with the existing override key, so there is no chance of being locked out. Only just installed and reprogrammed it, but so far so good.

UPDATE: After 3 months, half the buttons on the keypad stopped working. DO NOT BUY. REPEAT, DO NOT BUY. Old lock stopped working on my 15 year old gun safe. Bought this to replace. Took some light drilling to the safe door but, otherwise it went in fairly easily. Instructions for setting the combo were easy to understand. Recommended. UPDATE: After 3 months, half the buttons on the keypad stopped working. DO NOT BUY.

This was perfect! The original one that we had broke due to my husband dropping something on it, but he ordered this one and got us set up and it works perfectly!

So my winchester safe digital keypad started beeping randomly like crazy, not with any set pattern. So I ordered one of these. They keypad, mount, and motherboard are all exactly the same as ones from the factory. The only thing that was different is the solenoid. THIS IS IMPORTANT! The factory solenoid on my safe has a manual override plunger on one end, that can be actuated via an override key that came with my safe. Without this key, i would not have been able to enter my safe and do this replacement. My solenoid still worked, and was compatible with the new hardware, so i opted to reuse the solenoid. Install and set up was really easy, follow the video instructions. Also, dont forget to set a new default pin, you dont want a thief putting 1-6 or whatever it is and entering your safe.
