I love this water filter pitcher. I've always known I should be drinking more water, but I've always hated the taste of the tap water from the faucet so I never have. I didn't realize it was just a problem with tap water and that it could be fixed by using a water filter pitcher!I visited a friend of mine who has one of these water filter pitchers and she poured me a glass of water. Even though I normally hate the taste of water, I drank it because she didn't have anything else to drink at her place. To my surprise, the taste didn't bother me and I actually liked it.I went home and got on Amazon and purchased a Hskyhan for myself.This pitcher is very easy to use. Out of the box, I just washed the pitcher and water filter, cleared the loose charcoal from the new filter by using the first pitcher that I purified for my plants, and it was ready to use. The water tastes great, and I don't have to do anything other than pour water into the top compartment when the water level is running low. I would like to mention, though, that this pitcher is a bit taller than I expected. I have a small fridge, so the water pitcher fits very... snugly. It's about an inch taller than a milk gallon, so make sure your shelves are big enough.

Pros: looks great, water tastes great, fits perfectly in the fridgeCons: the filter basket location is too far down. This being a gravity-fed system the water takes an awful long time to fall into the bottom, and the filter holder gets full way before the pitcher does. The process gets even slower once the filtered water level reaches the filter. The hole in the filter is too small, which further impedes the water transfer process.I end up with approximately 1 soda stream bottle of water (1 liter) each time. Effectively, that's about all you get out of it unless you are willing to wait 5 minutes or longer for the pitcher to be done filtering newly added water.I have had this pitcher only about 2 months and I am yet to find a way to overcome the low filter flow/capacity problem.So, nice looking design, with engineering flaws that make me want to look elsewhere the next time around.

i bought two of these, wish I had bought the next size larger. I am refilling it non stop as I use if for five animal water bowls to take the chlorine out of their water. i have no kit to test the water to do what it is saying, but i feel like since i got it all i do is refill it. The water only sits to the filter section underneath.... so it's a lot of refilling. This is the 2.5 model, I should have gotten the 3.5. I was worried it would not fit in my fridge side door but i think it will - the fact that i need something larger is personal preference. The brand Hskyhan has just stuck their label on the side on what appears to be a generic container. I was able to peel the label off

It is every bit as I expected. Fast filtration and crisp and clean tasting water. And knowing it is so good for my body helps too. Highly recommenced. Oh, forgot to mention, the shape of the pitcher is very well thought out. Streamlined and not bulky like the more traditional round pitchers.

Does this make water alkaline as stated in the title? I don't think it does! False advertising as NOTHING is stated about PH on the package or paperwork. Update: The water does not taste very good at all, and it was black even after being filled 5x. Furthermore, and most surprisingly, the company contacted me and accused me of "working for a competitor in posting my review" and threatened to "report me to Amazon." Horrible customer relations!

First new filter gave strong metallic taste. Currently working with the second one hoping it's better. Will have to switch brands if both don't work.

Best filter pitcher purchase yet. Water tastes great. Filters last a decent amount of time as well.

I like the idea of having a more alkaline lifestyle. Only thing I don't care for is that I can still taste the gross Scottsdale chlorine tinge in the water. I like the narrow design for my small space.
