Low Price Great Quality!!
These are great! I'm a Dental Hygienist and decided to order these considering the price and I am so satisfied with them. I have been using these for 2 months now and I have no complaints thus far. You do have to be within 1 foot and a half distance to have clarity through the lens and ergonomics is compromised. The light is great and bright! When I use mine the light lasts a pretty good while and I always leave them charging when not in use between patients. One day I did not charge the fully before a day's work and light was becoming dim.Overall, very satisfied with them and the price is such a great perk. Will ve ordering a second one to have as a spare!

Good back-up loupes
I am a dental student and I had to send my pair of orascoptic loupes in for repair, so I needed something to use while they were being repaired. While these loupes aren’t the best for ergonomics, they definitely get the job done and I’m glad I have these in my back pocket. They are a little heavy. I didn’t notice the brightness not being enough like others had said when I bought them, because combined with the overhead light it was just fine. Battery life is not great for the light but hey for $55, you can buy a whole other set of the loupes just for the battery (I seem to remember inquiring about an extra orascoptic battery and the quote being a few hundred dollars.) all in all, they are great to have as a back-up or to use for short periods of time.

Surprisingly work really well in a pinch!
These are surprisingly pretty good loupes considering the price point. I found myself needing 3.5 magnification loupes in a pinch and these got the job done for a few weeks until my loupes came in.

Cheap and almost useless for precision work!
I was looking for optical aid in repairing electronics and other very small things around the house. Seen those and ordered them, especially as they were advertised as dental quality magnifying instrument. Nothing, except light that clips to them is like advertised - I mean nothing! Thing has absolutely nothing in common with professional equipment. Magnification is more likely 2 times and not advertised 3.5. Focal distant is not correctly given and depth of field is also so shallow that smallest move of a head throws images out of focus. Objects viewed are not sharp as optics are made of cheap plastic and don't provide quality image. Whole thing is very flimsy, heavy and very unstable and difficult to set up to fit your eyes. I know that this was only 50 bucs but that is 50 bucks I would spent on something else if I wouldn't be presented with false seller statements and misleading advertising.Definitely don't recommend those if you really need to see details of small objects.

Wanted for these to work...working length is off.
I really wanted to make this work but as the other review mentioned, the working length is way off. The whole point of using loupes is so we can keep a good neutral back while working and have a good distance between my and my patient but with these, I will need to hover over my patient. It is also very heavy. The brightness and quality of the lens is comparable to my loaner 3.5x Q-Optics so I’ll give it that. Trust me I really wanted to make this work as I refuse to get another set of loupes for $1000 student price.

These are way better than I imagined
I'm in dental school and waited last minute to try to order loupes for operative class. These were supposed to be a temporary pair until I could order some custom. When I took them to lab, they worked so well, I honestly don't see the point in spending 1300 bucks for loupes and a light. I'm highly pleased.

Ok
These are ok for a back up. I have Orascoptic and the frame broke $600 to fix and terrible customer service and so slow. Loupes are my lifeline as a dental hygienist. I did decide to go with Surgitel which I’m glad. These loupes are just ok and not very clear. I feel the light has a halo which if fine I didn’t need one but decided to go with it because of the price. The loupes themselves were harder to adjust and heavy but that’s expected for such a cheap pair. For me these will just be back ups which I feel everyone needs a backup. These will do. The working distance is shorter which I don’t like but better than nothing for me. I have a few herniated disc and autoimmune issues and work 12 hour shifts. I hope this helps.

Economical
For the price of these dental loupes vs a dental manufacturer price, these can’t be beat! I paid $975.00 without a light about 6 years ago and always kept in storage case but they eventually broke and they don’t guarantee or exchange! These cost me under $50.00, with a light, and are to me about same quality built! I will definitely purchase again!
