The Rich Tea biscuit packages arrived individually wrapped in bubblewrap and packed six to a cardboard box. This allowed them to come all the way from England without damage. They were all date-coded many months in the future and are totally fresh and quite tasty. This was my second order and I will be purchasing many more in the future. A special treat that reminds my wife and me of our pleasant vacations to Britain over the years. Highly recommended!!!

Since I drink a lot of teas and coffee, I thought I would see what the British are all about with these biscuits to go with their tea time. I LOVE the fact that these are not too sweet. I find 1 biscuit (cookie) is plenty to have with a cup of tea; it's my comfort 'treat' once in awhile. I'm pre-diabetic so have to watch those carbs and 1 biscuit has 5.6 carb gms, 1.2 fat gms, .6 pro gm, and 35 calories - not a bad deal for a special treat. The crunch is light, not hard, and won't break a tooth. They soak up tea easily so don't spill a drop on them or they will get soggy fast (lesson learned). There is a hint of a shortbread texture to these, but it's mainly a fine, tender crumb. Sort of a Ritz cracker texture but a firmer crunch to the bite, maybe a Ritz meets Saltine sort-of-thing going on. A hint of sweetness. It would pair well with a slice of cheese or meat as well as roasted veggie topping. I think a smear of nut butter would be delightful. It's a pretty plain flavor that would match with anything; nothing to distract from any topping. For me, I like just the one biscuit with my cup of herbal or decaf tea/coffee in the evening. It's a nice sized biscuit so you won't feel deprived with one. I just read on a UK site: the point of these is to soak up your tea or coffee; dunk it and eat. Who woulda figured? :)

Love, love, love the biscuits! Like other reviews, the packaging needs attention. Our boxes arrived in a huge outer box - with many of the balloon-type bubbles to protect the biscuits. The biscuits being heavier than the bubbles, the boxes were on the bottom of the box - unprotected - and the bubbles were all on top. We did have some breakage. I would suggest bubble-wrapping the boxes with the large sized wrap. Otherwise, very pleased.

High Quality product for those who really enjoy their tea. But the packaging is terrible & really takes the bite away; this is a huge sore point with this product for me personally. I am a frequent buyer because of the high quality of the product but the wrapping/packaging leaves me dissatisfied each time. To fix this issue, each biscut packet needs to be individually bubble wrapped in order to avoid crumbling before putting into the shipping box.

Fors , as Im from UK Im biased but these are the best, I would recomend them to anyone wanting a taste of England. Against, well the packing left a lot to be desired as half of one pack was broken and the main box was split down one side but knowing how roughly handled by mailing personel and customs do, it is hard to really critisize.I will order again when they have gone.
