I tried the product to secure a small roku remote control.The rectangular base with adhesive did not attach well on the back of the remote control despite using the adhesive pad and even small amount of superglue.The coil cable then fell apart and pulled out of the rectangular ends.Not recommended.I am hesitant to try the second one in the package given

We bought the 4 foot one of these first. That didn't work because they are 4 ft only if you really stretch them, and stretching them that much can break the seal. You pretty much had to be sitting right next to it to use it. The concept was great though, so we ordered the 10 foot connector. That one was long enough, but the tape didn't hold at all. Out of the 4 connecting sides, 3 of them came off in less than a week. One reason is that the tape isn't strong enough (the fact that it was so easy to remove the 4 foot connectors is an indicator of that). Another reason is, as one of the other reviewers noted, it has a fairly large flat surface that adheres to the remote, and nearly all remotes in this day and age are at least slightly curved in the back, so the sides of the connecting piece sometimes stick out. I am going to order stronger mounting tape and see if that solves the problem.
