Typical plug design with good components. Requires soldering of the wires but anyone with decent soldering ability and experience with stranded wires should have no problems. It comes with a rubber boot to protect the wire from sharp bends and there is enough room inside the plug to add a wire tie around the wire to strain relief against wire pulls. Each plug has a 15 amp fuse already installed plus it comes with 2 additional bags of fuses. One bag has 4, 15 amp fuses and the second bag has 4, 20 amp fuses. If you don’t like the LED light, you can simply cut the LED wire.

Used these to swap out a car plug that got crunched on a compressor...works like a charm. I did bypass the use light because I was too lazy to grab my soldier stuff. Great plugs.

These work, but are super fiddly. The led light is soldered to the positive and one of the negative tabs inside the plug, so you have to solder on your new lead and make sure the led stays in place. It works, but it would have been nice if they made the lead with a longer tang or a screw or something. I would try a different brand next time I have a need for this and see if there is a better option out there.

Impossible to use! There are no solder lugs inside and even with a steady hand and a ton of years with an iron in my hand I can't put this on the end of a cable - absolutely do not buy! I would rate it a negative if I could -

Work ok. Hard to hook wires to. Lost the little led light when soldering my wires to the connection. I don’t really care about the light. It would be nice to have so instructions. I got them to work for my cords.

Great for making your own cord plug ends. A little soldering skill is required. These are good for making a cord without splices and make a good clean build.
