Awesome Choke
What I love about this Allen choke wrench s it’s ease of use. It will never slip out of its choke tube slot because it doesn’t use them to grab ahold of the tube. The expanding rubber gripper grabs the entire tube from the inside without any chance of scratching your barrel. Great product

Doesn't Work Most of the Time
Bought this to use in the field because I am afraid of losing the $42 factory wrench which is away out of stock. Wasted my money because it has very little torque and usually can not remove the choke tube. Purchased the Carlson's "T" Handle Choke Wrench which works ( not to be confused with Carlson's Choke Tube Speed Wrench which the same as this one. Maybe not as good as the factory wrench on extremely tight choke tubes but it works in the field on reasonably lubricated tubes and is only about $4 more than this one and $23 less than the factory wrench (that you can't even buy).

Almost Returned
I, like many, was having issues getting this wrench to tighten any choke tighter than I was able to with my hand. When I recieved it, the rubber was pretty hardened. I noticed that when tightening the wrench while not in a choke that the resistance in screwing down the nut came from the stiff rubber and not from the rubber expanding to fill the choke.Decided to grease the threads, lightly heat and then alcohol wipe the rubber, and was able to get it to grip the choke much more securely than it had been.Definitely unable to remove chokes tightened with this wrench by hand at this point. Just a tip for those using chokes that dont fit a standard choke wrench and having issues with this product.

Does not work well with Full and Improved Modified chokes
I have a Beretta with Optima chokes and wanted a tool that could tighten a choke when trap shooting. In theory the product should work well, but the rubber/soft plastic part that is supposed to expand inside of the coke tube has an external radius that is too large. It barely goes into a full choke and only partially into an improved modified. The rubber insert that is responsible for gripping the choke was also cut unevenly, so it limited the ability of the handle to compress the insert tightly and develop good torque. The wrench works OK with trap and skeet chokes, but don't expect this tool to loosen a choke that is tightly installed.

Needs More Engineering
The issue I had was the rubber gripped the choke, but the rest of the tool spun inside the rubber no matter how much it was tightened. As you can see from the photo, the tool started tearing itself apart from the inside out. It's an interesting concept, but it needs further engineering. Definitely not suitable for stubborn chokes.

did not work
I read the negative reviews but bought anyway because of price. Lesson learned. Go with the expensive ones. This tool did not work at all for me. Thank you Amazon for making the return process easy.
