I recently purchased this pair of bike shorts, and I am thrilled with their performance. Fit was great and very comfortable

The fabric is great, comfortable, quality stitch. The jel pad is very high quality also. I found it to be too thick and too much to the point where I lowered my seat a little. Others may like the cushion but I really don't have much weight on the seat and wish they made these with a thinner pad.

1 Year Update: Probably have a little over 1000 miles on this pair (rotated use with other shorts) and they are still in perfect condition. No wear through at all which is common for me with other shorts. Pad and elastics are still good as well. I'm buying another pair as this one is likely to last multiple riding seasons. Good product.**********************Did my first test ride, quick 20 miler. First impressions exceeded my expectations for these shorts at this low of a price. The pad is more of a dense foam then gel, but turned out to be the best part of the shorts. It noticeably reduced the shocks from bumps. Could be that my older premium branded shorts have just lost their plush due to use, but these were perceivably more comfortable. The pad is well shaped, so that could be its edge over other brands. Not sure yet how long they will last but they appear well constructed. I'd be happy with my purchase if they last a year as they are 1/3 the price of my other shorts. First ride in I'm very happy with the purchase.

but the cuff at the bottom was too big, at least for me. I am in the lower part of the XL size chart and ordered the XL. They fit right at the top, but not at the bottom. I could gather maybe an inch of the loose cuff without stretching it all. The shorts are longer than most I have owned, and I think they don't have enough taper overall relative to that additional length. I really liked the material and the pad, though never rode with them. Maybe my legs are more skinny than average, but I think of myself as pretty average build.

I am a pretty big guy 5'11" and 240 pounds. I usually wear size XL Mens shorts but always require XXL in bike shorts (most of you bike people are in a lot better shape than me). These XXL shorts fit perfectly as I expected and are very comfortable to wear.I find the padding to be precisely what I need for my road bike. Its definitely thicker than the lightweight chamois type road shorts but not so thick that it looks like a diaper.I find the shorts to be very comfortable for my normal rides of 20 to 25 miles.I am a little modest and often wear a lightweight pair of drawstring shorts over these cycling shorts and it seems to work out great. (I do not like the combo bikeshorts and overshorts in one)I purchased the thin red stripe shorts and after using them a little, I went ahead and ordered the thin blue stripe version as well.Have now had them about a month with about 6 or 7 rides each on them and they are holding up great so far and are super comfortable to ride on.

This is the second time I have purchased this item. It is an excellent value for the price. I have a 33 inch waist and the Large fits perfectly, Well padded and they hold up well. I have been riding the first set for about a year three times per week The gippers on the leg are not too tight and they do loosen over the course of time, but at about $40 per pair, cannot be beat

After several weeks using these shorts, I'm still pleased. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the cuffs are a little loose when I put them on. However, they become snug without being restrictive when I ride and so far, they do not ride up or bunch up in the crotch. I'm 5'9" and 150lbs. If after a longer period of time I note some problems, I will review again. But for now, 4 stars seems about right.
