The Galayou 2k has been an unexpectedly good outdoor security camera and has been fitted to supplement an existing - and much more expensive - camera (Netatmo Outdoor Presence). The Galayou is well made, feels pretty robust and is a doddle to install compared with the Netatmo. Instant connection with external wifi, via the well thought out App. As others have recommended, make the initial wifi connection within a few feet of the router or external aerial first and then locate the Galayou further away where required. The 2k picture quality is excellent and makes facial identity easy, and the alert system seems pretty good - early days. The Cloud storage options strike me as expensive - ranging from £60/yr for Basic up to £ 160/yr Pro, which offers longer storage and differentiation between people, cars , packages etc which might be quite useful. However, the Galayou is perfectly capable of storing info on the optional microSD card, which can be set via the App to overwrite the oldest info first when the SD is full. Max capacity using the max size 128Gb is reported to be around 2 weeks if set at SD resolution and continuous recording. As with all things, it comes down to personal preference -- and location of cameras -- how effective your system is. So -- Galayou 2k is highly recommended -- really good value at ~ £30 , very easy to setup where others can be a real faff, and just works. Customer service too, if needed for advice etc, is very quick to respond with well thought out replies, but most can be resolved by ploughing through the reviews and Q&As first. Overall an excellent buy !

This is my sixth GALAYOU camera in the house (four outside and two indoors) and they’ve all been great. The image quality is sharp, the 360° view is really useful, and the app is easy to use. They’ve been reliable in all weather and pick up motion quickly with good colour night vision. Solid security cameras for the price. I wish the cable could be detachable from the camera itself for easier routing through walls as the USB end is quite thick. I end up having to snip the wire and then solder it together again. very durable and waterproof and connectivity when being 40m away from the router with 3 brick walls in between and bushes

It's a decent camera, the fact that you can turn it around and look where you want to look just by pressing some buttons on your phone is awesome. You can record 24/7 and view videos if you have inserted a memory card. Easy to set up, picture quality is quite good (when viewing directly from camera, not so from recorded videos when replay), and has a lot of additional options like sending a voice message through camera or switching on the LED light. I am giving it 4-stars because I ran into some problems, however the support was quite good and pro-active. One thing that bothers me is that when you replay recorded videos from your memory card as mentioned before the quality of picture is not that good, everyhing that moves (cars, people etc) is very blurry, which is not good in case of incident. Also there is a optional subscription available if you want your videos backed up in the cloud. All in all good camera for the price.

This has been a fantastic investment and has offered a great deal of security and reassurance for our home. Set up is very easy - mounted to the external wall and powered by the mains supply. It connected to the home WIFI easily, and has maintained a stable connection throughout the 12 months plus we have had it installed. The smartphone app is also very user-friendly and intuitive. There is a very good value upgrade for online cloud storage, so we are able to access archived footage. It is possible to download recorded clips, which has been useful when the neighbours needed to view what happened to their vehicle. Footage is very clear at the 2k resolution, being easily able to make out facial details of people visiting the property. It is also very clear when recording sound, and the night vision is remarkable too. There is a neat feature usable through the app where you can talk to people you can see on camera. This is very clear. The camera is a good size, being visible enough but not too obtrusive. We also like that you can angle the view through a full 360 degrees, giving you a massive potential field of view. It has proved to be extremely durable, working flawlessly through rain, snow, wind and high heat. For the price, this is an absolutely fantastic security camera, with a great supporting app. It is also worth noting that customer support is brilliant - emails were replied to very quickly, and with useable and productive advice. Superb product.

Have 1 of these in the back garden for 2 years and very pleased. So decided to get 1 for front of house. Easily set up and fully adjustable. You do need to drill through your house walls to an electric supply and size must allow for a USB plug to fit through. You also need either a cloud subscription or buy and insert a micro SD card. Good product and value

Ho aspettato un pochetto di tempo per fare una recensione in maniera da poter provare la cam esterna con ogni condizione di tempo. Da premettere avevo già altre telecamere da interno Wansview, che utilizzo da quasi un anno, sia una cam esterna fissa. Visto che avevo la necessità di poter riprendere anche un altro punto dell’ingresso ho deciso di prendere un’altra Wansview, ma questa volta motorizzata. Anche se la cam è marchiata GALAYOU è gestibile sempre attraverso la stessa app. L'installazione è stata rapidissima, avendo un punto luce vicino al punto di installazione per prelevare l’alimentazione, così come veloce è stato il collegamento al wi-fi e all'app. E’ possibile inserire anche una micro sd fino a 64gb, per mantenere in locale le registrazioni. Per chi fosse interessato è possibile attivare un abbonamento in cloud Dopo quasi 3 mesi di utilizzo posso dire che la qualità dell'immagine sia di giorno che di notte, con giornate soleggiate o coperte, è sempre più che buona. In particolare di notte è possibile attivare o disattivare i led all'infrarosso per avere una immagine in bianco e nero o a colori. I led si attivano automaticamente al passaggio di qualcuno davanti alla telecamera e questo può essere utile a scoraggiare delle intrusioni non autorizzate. Quando c’è un passaggio davanti alla telecamera è anche' possibile anche ricevere un allarme sul cellulare, se impostata la relativa funzione. Molto comoda la possibilità offerta dall'app di memorizzare fra i preferiti una serie di posizioni della telecamera richiamabili con un semplice tocco. E’ possibile anche comunicare con quelli vicini alla telecamera, con una chiarezza più che sufficiente per essere capiti. Per finire la cam è compatibile con Alexa attivando l'apposita skill Concludendo direi che per il prezzo pagato, è un acquisto più che consigliabile.

Sie hat meine Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen und bietet ein herausragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Bildqualität ist, selbst bei widrigen Lichtverhältnissen, gestochen scharf und detailreich. Besonders die Nachtsicht ist beeindruckend – man erkennt alles klar und deutlich, was ein enormes Gefühl von Sicherheit vermittelt. Die Installation war erstaunlich einfach und auch für technisch weniger versierte Nutzer schnell erledigt. Die Verbindung per WLAN war sofort stabil und zuverlässig. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die zuverlässige Bewegungserkennung, die Fehlalarme minimiert und mich sofort über wichtige Ereignisse per App informiert. Die App selbst ist intuitiv und die Live-Übertragung läuft reibungslos. Die Kamera macht einen sehr robusten und wetterfesten Eindruck, perfekt für den Einsatz im Freien. Fazit: Wer eine zuverlässige, hochwertige und einfach zu bedienende Überwachungskamera für den Außenbereich sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Pour l instant la camera fonctionne bien,elle a été placée il y a 1 mois et demi,video et photos de tres bonne qualité. Très bonne communication avec messieur Pirlo du service après vente. Je recommande.

Reune las características que yo buscaba: puedes optar entre grabación continua 24horas (con posibilidad de guardar en memoria microSD -no incluida- hasta 128GB) u optar por grabar solo cuando detecta movimiento. También recibes avisos (notificaciones de la APP) en el móvil cuando detecta movimiento junto a una foto. [Queda almacenado en la APP, y también accesible en la nube. La nube/servidor externo de momento no le he probado ya que es solo bajo suscripción] Obviamente puedes conectarte a las camaras y verlas en directo (mediante wifi, o si es en un lugar que no tengas wifi podrias usar un router 3g...) La calidad de imagen es lo que esperaba (puedes elegir baja SD o alta 2K) También puedes, mediante la APP, girar/dirigir la camara etc Me pareció sencilla de configurar. Primero hay que instalar la app "WANSVIEW CLOUD" y registrarte. La APP tiene mas de 1 millón de descargas en GooglePlay (aunque las opiniones de la aplicación son regulares a mi de momento me ha funciobado bien) y es una empresa que también ofrece opciones de pago, ambas cosas dan ciertas garantias (me da bastante mas confianza que una marca y aplicación desconocidas... al menos tiene muchos usuarios y ofrecen otros servicios...) Después registrarte, en la APP ya añades la camara (se vincula leyendo un QR que sale en la app, orientando la camara hacia el mismo) Por si a alguno le sirve la memoria MICROSD (en mi caso la compré aparte de 128GB, creo que es el máximo que admite) en un principio no me la reconocia, posiblemente por que con mas de 32 GB no es facil formatear en FAT32 (lo hice con el PC usando el programa FAT32 Format) No sé si es necesario este paso. También (como pone en las instrucciones de WANSVIEW) reinicié la camara con el botón y cerré sesión en la APP y volvi a entrar. Con eso ya se solucionó y ya me aparecieron en la APP las opciones de tarjeta microSD. La tengo hace pocos dias y me falta por probarla mas a fondo por si me da problemas pero de momento la recomendaria. Puntos a considerar por el que la compre: - La alimentacion es con USB y no viene cargador/fuente de alimentación. Para uso continuo preferiría otro tipo de alimentación con mas garantías (un cargador puede estropearse...) - Algunas funciones estan capadas (ya serían mejoras mediante suscripcion mensual/anual...) Aún asi sigue siendo bastante funcional sin suscripciones. He tenido anteriormente alguna otra cámara que subía un pequeño video sin coste a la nube cuando detectaba movimiento (esa camara para nuevos usuarios ya cobra suscripción creo) y aqui (Galayou) esa consulta seria con suscripción. - La memoria micro SD va encima de la camara... si la vandalizan y la extraen y no tienes suscripción para guardar en la nube te quedarás sin las imagenes... (Si te pueden llegar las notificaciones a la APP) - Creo que solo trabaja con wifi 2,4ghz... Antes de comprarla lei otros aportes/opiniones aqui en Amazon y vi algun video de youtube (por ejemplo me pareció bueno uno titulado "esta cámara lo tiene todo o casi", de marcsoul) que me ayudaron a confirmar que es lo que buscaba. Por último la comunicación con el fabricante (Wansview) parece buena. Les hice una consulta y me respondieron. Lo dicho calidad/precio la recomendaría pero ya depende de las necesidades de cada uno...

Après un premier commentaire plutôt négatif, je rectifie et exprime ma satisfaction. L'installation n'est pas trop compliquée, sauf qu'il faut choisir au départ entre une connexion wifi, bluetooth et une autre (?) je ne comprends pas pourquoi. Bref, je parviens facilement à voir l'image de la caméra sur mon téléphone. Elle est de bonne qualité, même en faisant une rotation qui la met plein écran. Compatibilté Alexa : après avoir plusieurs fois vainement tenté de visualiser l'image sur mon echo show, une semaine plus tard voici que cela fonctionne ! et très bien ! que s'est-il passé ? je ne sais, mais l'image est très bonne. En fait, la visualisation avec Alexa qui m'avait attiré n'est pas très utile car je vois sur l'écran ce que je vois par ma fenêtre ! Du coup je ne l'utilise qu'avec mon smartphone. J'ai aussi tenté d'installer sur mon PC la version de visualisation proposée sur le web : ça fonctionne à merveille ! J'ai commandé une version de la caméra avec panneau solaire pour mettre à l'extérieur et une autre pour l'intérieur. Les trois fonctionnent très bien, mais il m'a fallu installer un répéteur wifi pour faire bien fonctionner celle qui est un peu loin de ma box. Celle qui est à l'extérieur ne supporte pas trop le froid : avec une température de -5°C, la rotation ne fonctionne pas très bien. Je vais mettre un petit auvent au-dessus pour protéger de la pluie. Je peux voir les trois caméras sur mon smartphone même et surtout quand je suis loin de la maison. Utile pour surveiller quand je m'absente. Les paramétrages sont assez nombreux : j'apprécie les horaires de détection de mouvement. Je conseille ces caméras dont je suis satisfait et qui ne sont pas très chères.
