Love these jeans
1.) For what these are, the protection cannot be beaten. There are pants available that offer better protection, but they aren't pants you'd want to wear if you're not just on the bike. The knee armor and hip Armour is solid. The seat is Kevlar and the mesh is all over which makes me feel secure.2.) Fit: I'm 6'5" and 210 lbs. I have a 34 inch waist and ordered 24's. They were too small.. legs too tight and the waist was too tight. I re-ordered a pair of 36's and they fit fantastically. They're fairly long (thank god) and look good with boots... doesn't look like I'm waiting for a flood which is what I was concerned about.3.) The style is wonderful. I have a black helmet, black gloves, black jacket, black boots, and now, black pants. The pants are jet black, so they look awesome. The combination of mesh and denim looks awesome. The legs are slim, but not too slim. If you have any kind of built legs, you would probably need to look elsewhere. These do not smell as another reviewer said.5/5 would definitely buy again.. I'll probably another pair in a different style/color.

Over 20 years of riding with an array of gear, these are excellent
I've always hated motorcycle jeans. They were always kinda baggy... that weird, early 2000's, gross, light wash jean color, and just looked goofy as hell. I'm a slightly bigger, athletic dude floating around 200lbs, 36-30 jeans, so I ordered the 36. I absolutely love these jeans - but I can't even call them "jeans" because they more are like well-fitted, thick, textile riding pants.I've been shopping for motorcycle jeans for months, and never impressed by what I've seen. They are kinda pricey - and I already have leather pants. And like I said, they are all kinda baggy and early 00's looking to me. However, I don't always want to wear leather - especially for jaunts around town. I looked at everything RevZilla offers, but the lower priced jeans weren't nearly as good as these in terms of features - and why spend $100, when you just spend a little more for much higher quality? For those who complain about them being "skinny" or "fitted" this is actually a very big PLUS. When you ride you really don't want clothing flapping around in the wind - at least I don't. And, if you've ever crashed (and I have, on and off the track), you don't want loose clothing - you want something fitted for sliding and not catching for a tumble. The jeans I normally wear are fitted, and I have big thighs.I also want my entire leg covered, with no ankle exposure. These are long, and that is also a good thing. I wanted to provide a photo with my shorter boots on (also also have leather pants that I wear race boots over the pant leg) for reference. There really aren't many pictures of people wearing these jeans with their reviews. These stretch very nicely (like I said, I have big quads, and a big butt), and are very comfortable upon initial try-on. The knee and hip pads fit well in the pockets provided, and the knee armor is adjustable.I usually leather up head-to-toe for spirited rides, but around town I wear regular jeans. I wanted something with more protection than just regular jeans, without having to feel like I'm going to ride the track every time. Given that I've worn textile before on spirited rides, I would have ZERO issue with wearing these on those kinds of rides. While leather is always best, the kevlar and armor is in the correct places, and the material feels better than any other textile I've worn.I *may* add a zipper in the back to attach my jacket. That is always nice to have. For those complaining about the smell, it REALLY isn't THAT bad. In fact, I kinda don't know what people are complaining about - because I don't smell much. I know some people are sensitive, but I'm not and they do not stink at all to me. I wouldn't have that be a deterrent for you.ON THE BIKE:I ride a 2006 SV650 (naked) built as a cafe style, seated upright, street tracker with tall SuperBiker bars. I had to adjust the knee pads once, and the crotch felt low. They seemed to slide around on the stock seat which took a moment to get used to. Once I got used to the fit, I turned it up a bit for a spirited ride through some nasty, bumpy, very twisty roads and only slightly felt less protected than my leather pants. I don’t think I will wear these if I plan for going on a more “aggressive” ride. With the low crotch, somewhat surprising lack of friction on the seat, and dialing in the knee pads I believe these are a-okay for town and more chill rides. All in all, great pants on initial try-on/first ride and from my experience with many types of gear over the years, these should serve me well.

Comfortable, Fits Great, Looks Great, Excellent Value
Overall, I think these riding pants are a great value. I wear a size 34 waist/32 inseam. I ordered a size 34 waist and they fit perfect. Flexible and comfortable to ride in. Look great. Extra long cut inseams means they covered my riding boots with extra length to spare. I wore a light rain pant over them, so I really can’t comment on water resistance. There was a tiny, and I mean tiny odor when I opened the box. For me, nothing like what the other reviewers are experiencing. I did not experience any odor that would prevent me from wearing them. Also the protection layer in the seat, hip area, and knees is perfect. Extra knee pads are slightly bulky, but definitely not a show stopper. I would buy again, and highly recommend them if you’re looking for this style of riding pants.

If you're on the fence go for it!
Very nice pants. I think these pants would've been perfect with maybe one cargo pocket. I wear these to the gym alot and don't have any problems with sliding them over my gym pants. The knee pads are taken in/out through the air vent zippers. The hip armor has velcro pockets on the inside.I'm 5'10 195lbs and wear a 34/32 levis pants. I got the 34 and they fit great, they keep my ankles covered when on my zx6r. Even tho the tag says dry clean, I just throw them in the washer/dryer with the rest of my clothes. These do seem expensive, but I could see them lasting a very long time. I got them because the previous kevlar pants I owned by RHOK are no longer made. They had knee/hip pads too and I left me walking away with just some sore hips after my crash so I replaced them with these.

runs big?
i BOUGHT A PAIR of Maxler jeans and they fit perfect. They were blue jeans and these looked exactly like the ones i bought; but in BLACK. I am not 100% sure I bought them the same size; but this color seems to fit much baggy'r than the blue jean pair i bought. So i' sort of swimming in them somewhat and I wasn't happy with that part. I would have returned them for a smaller size; but if waist 34 was too tight I would have been double disappointed. So i'm keeping these and asking that everyone match your size best you can because i think these run on the big side. Besides that, the black color is rich and the jeans are def of good quality, which is why this is my 2nd pair.
