Holds a lot of water!
This is a great brush for anyone who needs to use a lot of paint/water for their work. Comes back to a point easily, but it is quite soft. So, if you need something with more “snap” or for detailed work, the Black Velvet series is not the best choice. But it is awesome for washes and layering.

Top quality
These are the best watercolor brushes I ever use. They hold their points and carry water and pigment very very well. I have a coupl I’ve used for years and they are as good today as they were when I bought them.

Great brush, exactly what I was looking for.
I have several Silver Black Velvet watercolor brushes in several sizes already and love them all. They are soft yet have a little spring and a great point for all painting styles. It holds a good amount of paint and water. They've lasted me a few years now and are my go-to brushes. If you're looking for quality watercolor brushes that will last, look no further.

This brush is so nice. It hold a lot of water and it comes to a very pointed tip. The size 14 brush I'm using is a large brush and I can use it for everything except for the smallest marks.

Best watercolor brush I own!
This brush is amazing! It hold the paint well and it’s very even and smooth. It doesn’t shred hair while I’m painting which is a big plus! It’s very easy to rinse clean and maintain its shape. Very well-made brush! I’d recommend this to anyone who likes to paint with watercolor.
