Learn to Read with Tug the Pup and Friends! Box Set 2: A Box of 11 stories, 1 parent guide, and reward stickers for Beginning Readers; Reading Level C-E (My Very First I Can Read)

I like that these books are harder to read because many words are similar so you have to pay attention. At times its even a bit tongue twister like. Overall, easy to read but harder than others. I use these to make sure the kid is sight reading properly. I suggest Grade K to 1st, but some Pre-K could handle it.

I bought my kindergartener twins a variety of leveled books as they had advanced in their reading. I originally bought scholastic Level C, and then when my son advanced to Level D I bought a set of those. He was breezing through those so I bought Level E/F as well. Then I saw these and since they are Level C-D-E I tried them since my daughter was still at Level C and my son was at the point of D to almost E. Well, these books as so far superior to scholastic's of the same level. The Level C on this set of books is like Level D from scholastic. These are much more challenging, and I think a little harder in a given level category. So, these are a great learning tool. There are real stories, with a beginning, a middle, and an end - the other brand readers for the most part do not have this. Because of the structure and stories, these books will have more lasting power in your kid's library.

Great little set of books. I bought for my son who is moving from Kinder to 1st grade. These are perfect for short readings and they are the right level for him. What is great is that there are several different levels of reading in this box so it's nice we don't have to run out and by the next set right away.

My kids ADORE these books. The illustrations are colorful and engaging, and the stories manage to be interesting and humorous in subject matter while still being simple enough for the kids to read them as beginners. I love that they are able to be challenged without being frustrated. This series is perfect for growing little readers.

I ordered 3 leveled box sets in the Tug the Pup series. These are great for teaching a child to read! They build ability in an appropriate way. These are some of my favorite for teaching my child to read.

I bought this set for my 1st grade classroom after purchasing the first Tug the Pup and Friends series. This set has books levels C-E, so for kids reading at the end of kindergarten/early 1st grade. My students love these "warm up reads." The stories are engaging and the art is well done.

I read tons of review for these readers and purchased the first kit a while ago. My kindergarten son loves the pictures and silly stories. They are simple readers that start at level C and move up. The sentences use a lot of sight words and sometimes are repetitive to help boost your child's success. I am very pleased with these books. I would recommend these to K students who are ready to move up!

We ordered box set 2 after box set 1 was a big hit with my 4yo. She loves reading them over and over and is incredibly proud she can do so alone. Cute illustrations, short and fun stories kept her entertained.

Excellent read for a five year old child. We had a good reading time with our kid. She could finish all the books.
