Colors were perfect for what I was seeking, muted and not bright/neon like so many kits. Colors set well, almost nothing washed out afterwards, and colors set very deep. Follow directions closely!

Great colors my project came out better than I imagined. The instructions were easy to follow and it was a lot of fun. I did add some dye stabilizer to help ensure the colors would last and so they would stay in the fabric and not leach onto my skin.

I received this as a gift and finally got around to doing it. Loved it so much I bought the exact same kit again! Great price for what you get, all the colors look so beautiful together (even the black which I was worried would ruin the rest). The kit comes with plenty of dye and the rubber bands are super stretchy and easy to work with. My only potential gripe with this would be the gloves but they’re what I expected. They worked but they’re plastic and not rubber or so they aren’t super comfortable. I got some of the dye on my hands when preparing and afterwards and it came off with regular washing within 24 hours. We tie dyed as a family and had a great time, now I want to buy this for everyone I know that has young kids too!

Gotta love a tie dye :) Loved these colors and aesthetic. Turned out great for a kids party as parents and kids alike could find colors they liked. I will say I had to saturate the shirts more than I have with other colors of the brand. Not sure if it was due to the prep of the shirts or the dye coloring.

The best part about this tie dye kit is that it is complementary colors. Some of these colors are not normally in the standard Tulip tie dye kits, so it was nice to use some specialty colors. Here are some facts that I think you would find useful: - The squeeze bottles are smaller than normal - only 1 oz, I believe. Tulip kits are usually in two ounces or greater. Just keep that in mind! - It says the kit will dye 12 projects, but they don't specify what types of projects. This will definitely not dye 12 shirts. 12 pairs of socks, maybe, but not 12 shirts. - The dye comes in the bottles already. All you need to do is add water! - Rinse the shirts out, and try to get as much liquis out as possible when rinsing. Don't wash the shirt right away or the color will fade. Try wringing out the water, and popping it in the dryer for longer color wear. If you have a creative individual, this would make a great gift, but if you're a person who enjoys tie dying on the side as a hobby (like me), I think you're better off purchasing other kits. There just isn't enough in here to do many shirts.

Remember, you don’t have to do just clothing! I was able to dye a cotton bathroom rug just fine and it is super vibrant!! Tips/advice: 1. As you get to about the half way mark in each vial, fill it back up with water. The color will be lighter than before but the dye will still work well. If you do this, let it sit for an extra 30. 2. The blue is the most likely color to bleed to other parts of the piece you are working on and can become more saturated while heat setting it. This is true for most natural fiber blue dyes - the pigmentation comes in last. 3. If doing a party or more than 2-3 shirts, get multiple packs! 4. If the dye makes a mistake droplet without sinking in onto the piece, wet a paper towel and barely touch the droplet to the towel. It’ll wick it up. The left photo is before the blue completed full saturation levels. The right photos are after the blue stopped increasing. It’s only a slight difference but it was welcomed on my end!

I got the Desert colors kit and the colors were just beautiful. I used to make tye dye shirts when I was younger, always loved the look, and although I'm retired now, I still do.

You get eight different colours and realistically can use each one once. You also get elastic bands and a few ideas about different techniques.

I wanted to gift this but I had a shock after I opened the outside packaging. The actual product has been opened and it’s all across the packaging. This is disappointing!!!

Love this product! It has such bright and vibrant colours and so easy to use! It comes with a step by step guide of different ways to tie dye. Plus it makes a ton of projects! Would 100% recommend and I will definitely be a repeat customer
