Excellent Performance at an Unbeatable Price
The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 is an exceptional CPU cooler and a fantastic replacement for my old Noctua. When building my new PC, I reused my Noctua and needed an affordable yet reliable cooler for my older system—this exceeded all expectations. It keeps my power-hungry i9 cool and quiet during CAD/CAM work, handling demanding tasks with ease. The cooler is rock-solid and maintains excellent temperatures without any issues. At this price point, it’s hard to find a better balance of performance, build quality, and affordability. Highly recommend this cooler for anyone seeking reliable, high-performance cooling on a budget!

The GOAT CPU Cooler
Size: This fits any standard ATX and M-ATX motherboards fine and includes mounting equipment for a variety of sockets, making it easy to pick the right one for you. Just be careful to follow the directions included or it can be overwhelmingPerformance: Performance wise this cooler is awesome I've had no heating issues like I had before and is really nice paired with a 9800x3d. Configuration options for fan speeds can be tweaked in BIOS so if you want to change the smart curve that's the best place to do so. There aren't any lights so no brightness settings to worry about but I'm sure people could add their own fans as long as they are the right size.Mountability: Super straight forwards and one of the best mounting systems for an air cooler I've seen in a whileBuild Quality: All high quality materials making me confident it will last a long time, if anything contrary pops up I'll update here. Otherwise I think I'll be happy for a while

Great looks and fantastic cooling!
I've installed this cooler on my Intel i9-10980XE which inherently runs pretty warm. With a great PC case with lots of airflow, my CPU is idling around 40c which is not bad at all! Even under full load this keeps my CPU under 70c. The installation is very easy with the included instructions. All of the hardware needed to install was included for both AMD and Intel applications. The thermal paste was not good so I ended up using a different brand that I had on hand. Overall I have been very happy with this cooler and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great quality for the price.

So far so good!
I've only been running this cooler for a few days, so I cannot speak to its durability/longevity. But it's an air cooler, so really the only part(s) I can see failing short-term are the fans which are easily replaceable. Many will want to replace them for RGB or noctua ones anyway. My rig consists of a 5900x (which loves to run hot) and 9070XT for 1440p gaming. I'd been using a 240mm AIO for a couple years beforehand, which recently failed, and this $40 cooler (so far) does a better job than the AIO. Opting for an all-air solution in my case just makes sense since I have five intake fans this new cooler can take full advantage of. I play a variety of games, and when my AIO couldn't keep temps below 80-85C under load, this cooler keeps temps between 65-70C. Doing light gaming and less-demanding tasks, this thing's even more chilly.I'm using the thermal paste and two 120mm fans it comes with, and both seem adequate. There have been some comments mentioning high-pitched or abnormally loud fan noise, but my unit has been extremely quiet. Even when fans ramp up, nothing sounds out of the ordinary.

Frostbite
I bought the white dual tower peerless assassin because it matched my build and I upgraded from the single tower version that had the tips on the end. This newer style looks so clean but looks aren't all, it's super functional. I have an i5 12600kf and on cinebench multiple core tests I went from a respectful 68 degrees on the old single tower, to an amazing 54 degrees with this double tower. Looks good, cools good, argb is a bonus but the pwm splitter is black....thermalright just use normal daisy chained fans for Pete sake. Also, the mounting can be tricky but read the item list then do your required install. No issues with installing or with fan hitting ram, plenty of room in my MSI-Z790 mobo. 10/10 and a fantastic price! All day winner. I actually prefer this over an aio.

Great bang for your buck
Before this I was just using the stock CPU cooler that came with my CPU. Was getting up to 85c on heavy load. After installing this cooler I would hardly break 60c under the same load. I was hoping to knock of maybe 10c and to end up getter 20c+ cooler temps is above and beyond my expectations. Was very easy to install, took about 10 minutes to have the old fan out and this one in. Had a little trouble lining up the fans with the heat sinks after hooking them up slightly off.Cools much better than expected, insane performance for the price in my opinion. Would very much recommend this product for anyone looking to upgrade from and old or stock CPU cooler.

Gets the job done. Cools my Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
Gets the job done. Cools my Ryzen 7 7800X3D. The fans are kind of loud. Especially when the CPU load is high. Combined with the AM5 Thermalright cpu bracket. Excellent for the price. But decided to get an arctic liquid freezer III 360 AIO instead.
