I hate wearing sunscreen. I tolerate it on my face but when it’s on my body I can see/smell/feel it and it grosses me out. Call it a “sensory issue” if you’d like. I spend a lot of time outside and I’m not willing to give into skin cancer or accelerated aging so these gloves are the alternative in addition to long sleeves and a hat. They’re extremely lightweight but not durable: these protect your hands from the sun but not much of anything else and that’s totally fine.

I just got my second pair. My first pair wore out eventually, but I'm ok with that considering how light and comfortable they are. I use these fishing to protect from UV. It can be tough to completely remove fish stink, but I don't really care. The important part is that they provide UV protection AND I forget I'm wearing them. Good product. Not super durable.

During a 3-day backpacking trip, and using trekking poles, one glove developed a large hole in it. This was the first time I’d worn the gloves. I emailed the company and they refused to replace them. I’ll never buy from Buff again. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the gloves were soft, comfortable, and protected my hands from the sun.

Simple, lightweight, stretchy, comfortable…I find no fault with these. I use them for fishing and hiking.
