We purchased an old house and refinished the upstairs attic into a master bedroom. Even tho it is beautiful it is EXTREMELY hot in the summer an cold in the winter. We paid to have the attic spray foam insulated and it still didn't work. We also had received many quotes on a traditional duct air system. The prices were INSANE and it would leave exposed ugly duct work. I did some research and know that in Mexico and most European countries they swear by mini split systems. I had a quote from our local HVAC place and they wanted absurd amounts of money. I was quoted over 15,000 for an install. We decided to buy one online and DIY it ourselves. And wow I am glad we did because it was so easy.So we ordered the 12,000 BTU and it is perfect for our 800 sq foot master bedroom.This thing is super quite and cools really well.The install took a few days and we had to pay a local contractor to charge the system but everything else we didn by ourselves.It came with all the tubing and connections needed. We did purchase an extra cover to hide the lines and protect them.I decided on this one and am very pleased.The outside condenser is small and fits well in place. The indoor unit is very quite, sleek and small. It has a LED panel on the front that displays the temperature. It also comes with a remote control that you can hang on the wall. I also love that it is a smart appliance. I can turn it on and off with the use of an app.So far I am extremely impressed with this and how well it cools. It's very quiet and looks great considering it is on my wall.

For clarity, my comments are for the 120VAC 12000 BTU unit. Installed this in the RV and am impressed with the features, engineering and performance of this unit. The build quality and finish of the product were good to excellent. The WiFi connection was reasonable and the app is lacking in some features but has the basics.Just to help someone else out, a couple things:1. Yes the unit is pre-charged with R410A refrigerant. A couple of reviews lead me to understand I would need to purchase R410A but this is simply not true in the case of the unit I received. I pulled a vacuum on the unit, tested for leaks and let the refrigerant go! The manual has a decent step by step to accomplish this task.2. The connection diagram for the control wiring was lacking in clarity. Basically the "1" "2" "3" "4" on the outdoor unit connects to the "1" "2" "3" "4" on the indoor unit. It doesn't matter the color of the wire, only that 1 goes to 1 and 2 goes to 2 etc.For the RV, I moved the propane tanks forward and built a steel frame to mount the ODU to the 'A' Frame. The indoor unit was mounted above the head of the bed area to allow the short refrigerant lines to reach.The heat pump feature also seems to work well, but takes 4-5 minutes to begin producing heat. FYIIt comes with a nice remote control and is Amazon Alexa compatible to boot!I am impressed with the inverter technology, power consumption and control engineering. This unit even reverses the ODU fan to clear out anything that may have gotten stuck in the exchanger each time you shut it down. Outstanding!I would absolutely go with this unit again.I do have one minor squawk... the outdoor unit has minimal protection of the exchange fins from being bumped. They could have done a bit more to protect accidental damage of the fins.

This unit came very well packaged. It was super easy to install. The instructions are very straightforward. This thing is very quiet when it runs and so far it will keep everything ice cold. I’m sure it will do the same when it comes to heating the thing I love the most about it is the app that it comes with, you can control the temperature anywhere. The remote is handy. You can’t beat this little unit for the price.

refrigerant leaks tried to contact support for warranty and they do not reply

This is a quality mini split. The copper lineset is perfect as you can make it for the size you need. This mini split is the same quality as the more expensive name brand units. The unit works very well. The customer service is exceptional. Thank you a great product and I would purchase again.

Bought one and was really impressed of how quiet and efficient it was so I bought 2 more units for another house. The wireless functionality on the second one is broken and the air handler can't connect to wifi to use the phone app. Customer service rep just basically try to reply with questions to prolong the email thread until I gave up. They won. So buy and pray if the unit has a good wifi connection. Other than that the unit works like a charm a year in now. Very quiet. The remote control allows precise fan speed. Timer functionality is useless/deosn't work.

I have a 400 sqft garage/storage building on my property separate from the main house. I finished it out and converted it into a home office/man cave for watching sports. I bought this heat pump because I wanted something to cool and heat my space and it was on sale for less than half price with coupons and other incentives. I have now used the AC through late summer and winter, so cooling and heating. I really like it a lot. The best aspect is the ability to turn it on and set the temperature from my phone so that the room is cooled or warmed by the time I get out there. The thermostat is about 5 degrees off either way, but I have noticed the same issue with some whole home heat pumps. Overall I think this is a great heat pump for the money. Easy to install. I could have installed it myself and let a local shop charge it, but I didn't want to void the warranty, so I prepped the power connection and had it installed by professional AC mechanics. It took about 4 hours. I recommend this product.
