This dinnerware set is gorgeous and perfect for any tablescapes. It has raised pattern and the slate blue color is different on ever plate. The glass cabinet has a glass door and the coffee mugs look great in it. I am now looking to purchase the larger "cereal bowl" for pasta dinners. One plate in the set came in broken and MIkasa service center sent us out one asap, and had it in time for Christmas. I am going to get one more set so we have settings for 12. This set is perfect for male or females....they dishes are heavy duty so they won't break easy. I am worried about chipping because it would be quite noticeable but so far so good.

Beautiful set. A little bluer than the photos show, but they are going to be perfect. Dishes arrived on time and in great condition,

Do not buy
Its not microwave safe. After 3 mins, it broke in two pieces and another one broke in the dishwasher

Good Value, You Get What you pay for
Plate arrived cracked. Another plate cracked in the microwave. Seller replaced both, but another one just broke. The entire set is only $64 so looks nice, but not very durable. Went to where adults buy french porcelain plates and bowls. Think IKEA of bowls.
