Nice and sharp
I've been mulling over this type of knife, if not this one EXACTLY, for years. It's just been sitting on my wishlist. And then someone came to my apartment door after 11 at night, unannounced. Knowing some of the types of people in my building and the folks that neighbors let in, that's not something I want anything to do with. I needed a way to defend myself at least somewhat. Because it's spring-assisted and locked blade, I can't take it out of the apartment in my state, but I can certainly use it inside. Be careful closing it, because it is very sharp. It does take a little bit of effort to open (a flick of the wrist usually helps), but I still wouldn't leave it where children can reach it. It's very safe once it's closed, but it's wicked when it opens. It's a beautifully constructed knife, as per usual with this company (and probably nicer than a number of competitors, especially with such a low price point), and I expect it to last for a very, very long time.

I carry this all the time. Read my love story below.
I bought two. One for myself and one for a friend. He loves it. Nice knife. Look for the ridge / knob behind the hinge of the the blade. Press this with just a bit of pressure and the spring assisted blade locks into place with a satisfying snap. Then slip your finger into the ring and you are GTG. Perfect weight. Solid construction. Knife comes in a plastic bag inside a box with a light coat of oil on the hing / blade for lubrication and to protect the knife metal from moisture. Well made clip to secure the knife in my pocket. I like the red handle. People can see the love that could be coming their way when I take it out of my pocket and slip it into my hand. Specifically when I am approached by panhandlers. If they get too close or aggressive and / or do not respond to me saying "stay away from me, leave me alone" in a calm, firm manner. One time I was quickly approached from behind in the parking lot while walking to the store by a scruffy looking character who tried to talk to me. I may have said "good morning" back to him, cannot remember. However, while I continued to walk away from him, he continued to follow me. I casually and calmly removed my knife from my pocket into my hand (note: I did not engage the blade or brandish the knife). He saw it (as I mentioned, red handle). That was the end of the interaction / conversation. Best $10.00 non verbal communication device I spent money on.

A High Quality knife for a Low budget price
So this knife is great and it deserves five starts so please read the post before letting the amount of stars deter you from the product. The knife itself is a great knife very well constructed no blade play and the assisted opening is on point with a higher quality assisted opening than my 50 dollar knife you can hear its not to hard but not too soft its just enough to get the blade up in a timely manner and not enough to give the blade blade play and mess with the locking mechanism. The blade is not too sharp its less sharp than an out of the box kershaw shuffle 2 but karambits aren't meant to be razor sharp the tip is extremely point infact I dropped it on the ground and it stood straight with the tip in the ground. Anyway the downside is the steel, its kinda bad only stainless steel but honestly to me that didn't really matter as I won't be carrying it around anyway. The reason I will not be carrying it around is not because I have a better knife but because of the biggest down side of this knife, its size, in most pictures it looks like a medium sized knife but when you see it in real life you would be astonished its so unnecessarily bulky it gives the knife a good weight and a nicer ergonomic design and I wouldn't expect much more from an assisted opening karambit but its far to bulky taking up the majority of my pocket, I will just stick to the kershaw shuffle 2 a nice small very sharp knife. However the TAC FORCE pocket knife Karambit is what it is and its perfect for what its meant to be.

Great looking, feeling and functional knife
I have always carried a knife every day since I was a boy just like my Dad did his entire 79 years on the planet. My reasons are more out of necessity than functional as Dad worked on a family owned lumber mill while I have no fingernails and need it to open anything and in place of my chewed down fingers Anyway enough personal stuff, I just lay out those details for context and I use my knife frequently and need it on my person all the time. Okay on to this knife. I ordered several different styles of knives from different vendors and I was a little apprehensive about this one given the low price and lack of a lot of reviews but I was very pleasantly surprised. It arrived very quickly and it really exceeds my expectations. It is well made and attractive, nicely weighted and balanced, opens & closes nice ,& tight and clips nicely on my pants pocket. The design is outstanding and fits very snugly in my hand making it safe to use and comfortable feeling Two thumbs up for a good value, good product from a good vendor.

This one has its drawbacks
It's a good, solid knife. It fits my hand perfectly, and the finger hole functions exactly as it should. Also, it takes a good edge. However, I had to work it a few dozen times before the blade would snap into place securely. Finally had to carefully file off a tiny bit of the locking spring. Also, when it is in my pocket, the way the snap holds it makes it slow and cumbersome to remove and get into ready-position. If I were in a sudden-attack situation, I can't guarantee I'd be able to get it ready soon enough. Also-also, it is quite bulky when closed. Maybe if I can get a proper holster made for it ...
