A periodic problem with nesting fire ants under patio pavers was quickly resolved. Scattered about a teaspoon or less of fire ant bait near the site of emergence, then carefully brushed bait into the paver joints. I observed that in a few hours, most of the bait had disappeared, no doubt dragged into the subterranean nest. After three days of treatment, I waited a week and noted ZERO activity, even when I thumped the pavers with a rubber mallet. Nest kill and full control was successful.Follow directions, and you will achieve good results!

This did the job!!!! We had an area of red ants that was on our drive way and these guys had taken over the yard it seemed. Their trails were everywhere. We brought the granules and not liquid for fear of the other pets. Plus they would carry the granules thinking it food back to their home. We spread this about 2 weeks ago and haven't seen any movement at all. This has no smell to it and is very easy to use. This was a small size but it worked for the purpose we needed.

Takes care even the larger ant mounds fast and easily. Very low odor. Used in combination with the seasonal prevention, this stuff took care of the fire ant problem.

This bait was a miracle worker. I first tried white vinegar and the ants were gone for a few months. Repeatedly with the same result, but ants came back in 2 places. I put a tiny bit of this fire ant poison down and they were gone the same day and have never returned. I highly recommend this product. You can use a very tiny amount on new anthills.

Be patient, it will kill them. Fire ants are under control now. Looks like with just a little bit it is enough to kill the queen, that means this product will last for months unless you have an infection of fire ants.

I've been using Amdro for years and it has always worked beautifully. I sprinkle it around the fire ant mound in the morning or early afternoon and the colony is gone within one or two days. And I appreciate that something that works so well is so quick and easy to use.

Does a fantastic job! I had five areas at my ranch. Took care of all of them within 3 days. It's been two weeks and grass is now growing where the big red ants were.
