This is a very well built battery sled but it will get hot at 15+ amps. If you are attempting to fix a vape mod, only consider this if you are running a 1 ohm or higher coil. I used the 1048 to repair a Pioneer IPV4S running at 20 watts and it heated up too much to be safe. The contacts are slim and cannot move the current (safely) required by sub ohm tanks or anything drawing more than 15 amps. My concern is that it will destroy the battery heat shrinks and short out if not properly seated.
