My favourite so far.....
Out of all the phone holders I've used these are the best. No fumbling with trying to find release buttons or having the thing call off the glass. The only down side for me is that they don't fit all car air grills.

Doesn't fit a KA
This looks good and of you have the right car it should work fine. Unfortunately it didn't fit anywhere in my KA.

No good for me
If you have an apple phone it's too heavy and it just doesn't hold it at all

Very good magnet, It's compatible with my car mount
Very good magnet, the size of the ball is compatible with my car mountThe only reason I took 1 star off is because of the outer ring is loose which can come over as cheap but It's a good mount overall.

Very good product
The magnet is very strong. I use it to put my smartphone on the dashboard for navigation and to take calls handsfree while driving. It fixes easily on the AC vent. Highly recommend it!

Excellent Mounting Solution for Vertical Blade Vents
When I bought a used 2008 Inifiniti G35, I never anticipated how much difficulty I woudl have finding a suitable dash mount for my cellphone that would position the phone where I most preferred it...just beyond fingertip reach to the right of the steering wheel. One of the first mounts was an iOttie Easy One Touch 2, which gave me exactly the support and positioning I liked, yet the gel dashboard pad did not hold well in hot Texas weather, so I started looking for alternatives, and that led me to a spring loaded vent mount from Scosche I think, but the clamps would slip on the vertical vent blades. Small spring clips attached to the blades gave a workable solution, but still prone to side to side wobble. Eventually I came upon the Scosche Magic Mount which was my first magnetic mount, sold me on the idea of magnetic phone mounts, and was the best solution that I went with for the long haul, with the mount affixed with adhesive to an area of the flat trim panel around the radio. This placed it lower than desired but was still workable and was very secure and stable. In the photo with this review, that mount is seen almost out of the photo at bottom right.Continuing to look for a better vent mount, a TaoTronics model was tried but was poorly made and broke after a short time, and I moved on to a WizGear mount that looked to be a better design, having a small tooth at the end of one jaw, that appeared it would allow the tightened jaw to hopefully stay in place and not pivot forward on the vent blade. Unfortunately, on the vertical blades of the Infiniti's air vents, I still had to screw down the jaws of the mount so tightly that again, time took its toll and the plastic jaws fatiqued enough to lose a strong hold. That mount will no longer work on horizontal vent blades either, if the blades are movable; however, I found that it would work on a fixed horizontal vent of a window defroster vent, so there may still be some usefulness doing that. The failure of the WizGear mount found me looking once again for a replacement, leading me to purchase two very similar mounts, the VANMASS Magnetic Air Vent Mount and the 2019 Updated Version Hussell Magnetic Air Vent Mount. I bought both, being a bit skeptical that one or the other might prove to be too weak. Instead, I am VERY HAPPY to say that both appear to work wonderfully, and for the same reason...wider jaws (at least 50% wider than the WizGear mount) that still have the small tooth at the end of one, but also a broader jaw opening clearance. Although both mounts seemed to attached securely and hold a stable position on the vertical vent blades, I happened to notice that the wider-opening jaw would actually fit over the edge of the dash cowl surrounding the LCD information console. Both mounts tightened down securely and held in place very well without feeling a need to over-tighten their mounting knob, I'm optimistic these larger jaws will hold up better, hold stronger, and not be as likely to fatigue.Bot the VANMASS and HUSSELL mounts appear to be excellent build quality, and the VANMASS might have a very slight edge justifying it's price being $2.75 higher cost at the time of my purchase...a pair of fins extending out on each side that for some vent mounting options, may lend a more stable placement. As it turns out, I may actually leave both mounts installed since they are easily removed, as use of both will also support mounting my 10" Samsung tablet (using two metal plates on its back) quite securely, and if I so choose, I could still mount my phone below it on the Scosche mount. I don't really foresee any good reason to use my tablet in the car, but the point being that at least these two mounts give me an option to do so. Compared to other mounts I've tried, these two are easily 5 star alternatives, and this review will be submitted for both. If you have vertical-blade air vents in your vehicle, I highly recommend either mount for a simple, effective, and easily installed/removed cellphone mount.
