Blink camera
I can't believe after a few years. Using the blank camera system, they still work pretty good. The only problem I have with them is that the battery will drain sometimes less than a week or 2 weeks? If you use them a lot, the battery will go even faster. I wish you guys could do a 4k version of this camera. Sometime the camera will freeze or one of them just don't want to show me the image, but it keeps recording.its a good picture quality and brightness. I feel like if you guys had a 4k version of it it would have been better and better picture quality. Looking forward for the 4k version 😀

better than older model
Older gen3 is better than newer gen 4 cameras. I'm hoping blink brings gen3 back. Although newer model has better field of view, reliability is lacking. Much prefer gen3 over gen4

Simplest security camera system ever....
Download the blink app, plug in the sync module and cameras, add them via the app, and voila you're up and running within literally minutes. Blink has done an exceptionally good job with their software and UX/setup. The app itself is also very intuitive, categorizing your sync modules and cameras hierarchically, as well as offering camera settings (schedules, blind zones, sensitivity, etc) all via the app.The most unique and powerful attribute of the Blink system is they are FULLY wireless (no power cords). They pioneered long-life cordless security cameras and 2 AA's provide months and months of camera operation. What does this mean? It literally means you can put these cameras ANYWHERE you want, as long as they are within your wifi reach. Almost all other cameras require you to have a power outlet nearby. Try finding a power outlet exactly where you need it when setting up security cams (up high above your garage door, in that blind spot where your driveway is, at your office porch, etc). BLINKs do this effortlessly. You should configure your camera on a schedule so it doesn't constantly monitor and record (and transmit) data while you are home and don't need it, but even then, you likely won't need to change batteries for months. Have tried many camera systems, and I always come back to BLINK.Note that it does require a subscription (pretty cheap, less than the cost of a latte per month) for you to store and access camera videos on demand (cloud).

Great camera, but a little grainy
I like them. The night vision is a bit grainy, probably not a great option if you're trying to capture a license plate number at night. Over priced for picture quality, but great sensitivity and all three have survived -22 degrees this winter. Battery life and the app is great. We did have a router stop working for no good reason, but amazon replaced it free of charge. Range is about 50 yards in clear sight of the router. We've used a wifi extension to reach out to 100 yards.

Blink system no longer records clips to local storage
This review covers the Blink Outdoor cameras (I gave a review regarding the Blink ecosystem which I will briefly repeat here but will focus on the Blink Outdoor cameras specifically).Blink Ecosystem Pros (while it worked)-No monthly fees-Videos stored locally and can be viewed on the app (used an iPad to manage the system and can save the videos to the iPad) or the USB can be removed from the sync module and plugged into a computer to be viewed and saved-Easy installation-Easy App installation-Alexa integration (used mainly for motion activation announcements)-2-way sound quality was okayBlink Ecosystem Cons-No longer saves clips (the main purpose for having a security camera system)Blink Outdoor camera Pros-Daytime video quality is goodBlink Outdoor camera Cons-Night Vision quality is poor-Lots of false motion activations (tested with various different setting configurations)-Time delay was the main pain point. I set the motion activation criteria to target the entire sidewalk in front of my house to catch anything approaching my driveway. It activates generally AFTER the mailman has deposited the mail in our garage and is leaving so I can only catch his back. This may be due to the cameras being battery operated but this isn't acceptable. Same with the camera in our entry door way alcove. We target everything in the alcove including the bottom of the stairs (7 steps). The video starts recording when someone is already at he front door (they have already climbed the stairs and the 4 paces to the front door). So the video is basically them standing there.(I did manage to catch someone trying to open my front door around 1am. We have a separate motion sensor light so the video was fully in color but they had a hood on and all we were able to capture was an indescribable person trying to force their way into the front door. The video started with them already at the door. If the video started earlier we would have possibly gotten a picture of their face as they approached the door...)

Good cameras for the price point
Easy to install and to use. Other reviews better cover the user experience and longevity of them, however I want to express my main concern with these otherwise great cameras. The cameras themselves snap mount onto the actual wall mounted piece. That’s all that secures the camera to the mount. Granted it is a very tight fit and has a very audible snap when it’s set in place, but as for theft of the camera, all you need to do is give it a tug and it’s removed. I’m not at all worried about the camera naturally falling off it’s holder as I said before it’s a secure fit but regardless the issue there remains. This hasn’t happened to me, but I am curious as to how Amazon would fix the issue given that it’s the fault of the design rather than the fault of the user. I have 5 cameras including Blink’s doorbell cameras and never to much of an issue with themIf I could give 4.9 stars I would, but 5 is a good reflection on how I feel about these
