Rockport Cobb Hill Women's Harper-CH Wedge Sandal

I have plantar fasciitis so I need really good arch support. These sandals have it. I walked all over Italy in them with no problems. So comfortable!One note of caution - get them from Amazon while you can. I talked to Rockport in an attempt to get another shoe that is similar, but they don't carry this style any more. The Hannah CH wedge sandal style is similar (identical?) and feels the same, but it is dressier. Love those also, and they have a conventional strap with buckle. Rockport is also not carrying that style any more.One minor issue with this Harper style is that the straps attach with velcro. As the straps stretch with wear, the two parts of the velcro may not connect well any more.

I wore these brand new out of the box to a wedding recently, and I actually wanted to wear them again the next day - they are THAT comfy!I ordered a 7.5 Wide - I am an avid Birkenstock wearer so I'd say my feet are now on the wider side of normal. Despite having ordered the wide width, I feel like these Rockports were JUST BARELY wide enough. I wouldn't want mine to have been any narrower or else my feet would have been hanging out of them!Other than that, the straps are wonderfully adjustable, though I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to re-velcroing, so I'm trying to keep that to a minimum. The ankle strap is designed to be worn a bit lower on your ankle than most, which is why it's a pretty wide opening compared to other shoes with ankle straps. As a person with chunky ankles (thanks Grandma for that bone structure), I actually felt like the ankle strap being a bit lower than normal was more flattering. Definitely no cutting in - and I did adjust them to the tightest I possibly could!The footbed is a dream - enough arch support and super cushy... but what really struck me when I put these on was their lack of weight - compared to my Birks, these are like wearing soft, flexible feathers! A lot of times wedges like this don't have much flex, but these definitely do, so wearing them is a breeze.I'd definitely recommend them - I'm looking at getting another pair in a different upper design but with the same lower wedge footbed/sole.

I found these to run a tad large, so I ordered the 8 1/2 (instead of my usual 9) and they fit perfectly. I am disappointed by the color... the photograph shows a much darker color.. the sandals I received looked much more like the "spice" color than the "tan" I ordered and quite orange..I wish they were the brown shown in the picture they are showing. I considered returning them, however, they are very comfortable. I would note that the bottom heel wedge is very narrow at the heel, so they aren't quite as "stable" as I would like, but the heel is pretty low - less than 2". The insole is soft and lightly padded. I wore them around the house for several hours didn't find any sharp or sticky points. All of the straps are adjustable with velcro like tabs, a very nice way to adjust each shoe to your each foot. I have included some pics that I hope will be helpful. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Nice, cushiony sole with no clack-lack sound at all. Soft insoles with highest arch I could find. Best adjustments I could find in a dress sandal. However, they are still way too big for my small ankles. I ordered a wide and both sides of my ball area hang over the edges. Not bad enough to return. These must run narrow. I'll have to have the ankle strap altered but I've tried on dozens of sandals to fit my high arches, narrow ankles and wide toes, I also have plantar fasciitis, metatarsal pain and arthritis.

Very comfortable and cute. I love the soft supportive arch in the Cobb Hill shoes - it's a must for me. The medium width shoes are very wide for my foot which is on the narrow side, but I normally wear a B width. If I put them as tight as the velcro will allow I can probably wear them, I may have to have a piece of velcro added to the strap nearest the ankle at the shoe repair shop but could not afford to exchange because the narrow was $80 more on amazon!

I didn't think I'd be wearing shoes with velcro again until I was well into my senior years, but turns out the velcro is just the thing to give these shoes a great custom fit. And I did order a wide width.They are very comfortable; I forget I'm wearing them after a day of walking around and I specifically wear these shoes when I want something inconspicuous on my feet. I like that my whole foot is lifted off the ground with this wedge and my toes are protected from stubbing with the platform. The insoles are cushioned in the center and there is arch support.

I normally wear a 9N in shoes. Sometimes an 8.5N in sandals. I ordered this in a 9N and found it to fit very strangely. I liked that the front two straps are adjustable. But the ankle strap was way too big. Overall the sandal felt very loose. The velcro was scratchy/uncomfortable (probably because I had to make the straps so tight. Yet the footbed itself seemed quite narrow - which was perfect for me. I am returning these because I could not get them tight enough. They are cute though.

Because of feet and ankle swelling, I was desperate to find some shoes that could accomodate those changes, and these 3 velcro straps did the job perfectly. And they are pretty too, with a little wedge. So pleased with my purchase.

I bought a pair in the wide size as I normally would and they are too wide. I didn't realize that all the straps are velcro and therefore easily adjustable to any width. I should have just bought the normal width. That said, the foot-bed is extremely comfortable and would definitely recommend them. Cobb Hill products are always well made & good quality.

LOVED THE SANDALS, BUT STRAPS CANNOT BE TIGHTENED ENOUGH... SANDALS FLOP AROUND.

I had a pair and liked them so much that I bought them on line this time.
